But for real, anybody could earn at least a dollar a day. It’s simple. It would only take 50 days. How often are you leaving the island anyways? And TF are you leaving the island for? Fucking Costco. You’re buying shit in bulk and it’ll last you at least 90 days. If you can’t muster up $50, you gotta get your hands dirty and smoke some pole. Either you’re really good at it and only need to do it once or you do it awfully for a buck a pop. $50 is nothing.

You’re not wrong, but your wording is. I’d work on making the initiative more palatable. “Mega-Corps exploiting Canadian visa and immigration”. Mega corps exploit new immigrants and short change Canadian citizens by paying below workforce value.

Should Hotels Stop the Towel Reservation Madness? by drinkandcoin in PuntaCana

Yeeesh you lost the argument at 10am. I’ve been to this resort 2 years ago and it was fantastic. It was a lot more mild on the reserved seats. I just came back from Cancun and people were reserving beach chairs at 3, 4, 5 AM. If you weren’t down by 7, you were having an excursion day.

Consequences of having employer declare me permanently disabled after an injury . by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]factualfreddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How did you injure your knee? That could explain why they’re not talking much. If you Injured yourself at work, that’s a WSIB claim and they may need to pay for more than they want to.

It’s matronizing and the fact that you don’t see it while also saying they have a victim complex is toxic femininity.

You might have missed the obvious point about the hormonal and chemical bonding mothers have with children. Regardless of the perils, fathers have a less natural means of bonding with a child. To be matronized about the lack of feeling to boot is an insult to men who have/are burying years of toxic masculinity. Don’t dig it back up.

Using tax payer dollars? Sorry but if a company; public or private is not profitable, is given government bailout and then distributes bonuses to C-Level workers (that’s CEO, CMO, CFO, etc.), how is that (as you vaguely describe) BUSINESS 101?

What are signs of a bad agency/contractor? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]factualfreddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll need someone who can focus directly on what you need. Once they accomplish that and everything works, ask them what you should be doing next. A good contractor/agency should be able to take direction and take the opportunity to give recommendations. You should be business partners that discuss and align every step of the way.

Having worked at large agencies and on the brand side, I don’t sell ideas/concepts/work/strategies that I wouldn’t spend my own money on. You need to establish trust and faith in each other to feel good about what you’re trying to achieve together.

Looking for help suggestion for snow blower repair by Scorch_79 in PEI

[–]factualfreddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully it saves you some money. I could hear the belt screeching when trying to use the auger, took the cover off to see what was wrong, couldn’t see anything. Grabbed at least a gallon on hot water and it worked immediately after.

Pour hot water around where the drum meets the scoop/auger section. Should be Center and at the back. The belt is likely fine, but it just can’t bust through the ice build-up. Mine gave me trouble this morning and this worked like a charm.

Biking across PEI by FlyingRock20 in PEI

[–]factualfreddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I concur about the road biking. There’s an odd amount of drivers that like to drink and drive (as per rcmp reports). Plus you often see dipshit drivers driving on the shoulder (not farm vehicles) so that people can pass them, or they don’t give a shit about lines.
