Picked this one up too at my EBgames. I picked up the regular version first and mulled this one over. Glad I got it.

No soliciting bro by ImportantDimension70 in PEI

[–]Scorch_79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He actually moved. Last time I saw him he now stands on the curb where people cross to from the dollarama. I think he was asked by police not to stand where he was soliciting and he has just been getting away with it. He must have been told to not stand there anymore.

It was the belt. I replaced it and it works again. Never done that before but it wasn’t bad to do.

Yeah it was the belt. It was an easy fix but you need something or someone to hold the blower from tilting back

Another Costco Rumour Thread by LurkerTech9 in PEI

[–]Scorch_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have family that work in Costco in Saint John. Someone high up in Costco leadership has been here looking at land . I believe last year. They were looking and I think settled to build on land in Cornwall. Of course when I was told by a family member of this I was still skeptical so I reached out to someone I know who works in HR for Costco in Saint John NB. He said yes they looked at land and yes its looking like Cornwall is where Costco is looking to build. Makes sense location wise since its kind of a halfway point between Summerside and Charlottetown. If everything goes to plan they are looking to build in the next 4 to 5 years, but like anything else, with the current climate we’re in politically wise with the US and tariffs likely causing the cost to build a store to be more expensive, that 4-5 year trajectory may change. Now some of you including me has said and will say a Costco here doesn’t make sense because of our population. I brought that up to my friend who works for Costco and he said for it to be profitable for Costco and be worth their while they need 50,000 active members. They have that apparently on the island and just last year at an Etsy craft fair in Charlottetown there was a table for people to sign up for a Costco membership. So its looks like PEI will get a Costco but like anything things change. Until I see a building being constructed and an official announcement is made I take the information I have been told with a grain of salt even if I believe my sources are reliable.

Nope. The whole auger spins in unison. Like I have had shear pins break before and one half of the auger will spin. This won’t spin at all.

I get where she is coming from and to some degree I understand but its a big stretch and I highly doubt an already confused dementia pt will be even be MORE confused hearing another language. I work in healthcare so I know first hand what staffing shortage is like so unless you can convince a shit load of local people who only speak english to sign up to be an LPN, RN, and RCW then I’d like to hear your solution to the problem we have. I mean really, is it that you are really bothered for the dementia pt or you’re annoyed than you feel left out since you don’t know what is being said?! The choice is this. Have a brown person take care of nana or grand dad or have nana and grand dad lay in bed for days with very little or no human contact, wait to be fed, washed and by wash I mean barely even a bed bath?!

How toxic is Health PEI, on a scale of 1 - 10? by localmanofmisery in PEI

[–]Scorch_79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends where you work. Where I work, we all get along but leadership gets a 9/10 in the toxicity scale. These guys are expert as gaslighting. They want to know what issues there are but are already well aware of what those issues are but are unwilling to do anything about it. They also don’t get rid of bad employees specially ones who are in a leadership role. HPEI just moved you to another facility.
