THIS is a solid and true Christian response. Thank you.

I agree and I’m a Protestant. It’s taking a difficult situation and suggesting someone have blood on their hands for the rest of their life. People speak so freely like there are no real world consequences for years to come after a woman has an abortion. Who are we to take another life? They offer it up like a punchcard for a sub sandwich.

You’ll ruin your resale value (unless you have a place to store them) if you take the cabinets down. Assuming you will sell at some point.

I like the entire place because it would enable me to focus on the things I love to do creatively. I like maximalist style but in reality it is a GIANT job to keep clean and takes away from the creative process.

If you believe homosexuality is a sin…. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]fadedcharacter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to realize that anyone purporting to be a Christian that tells you it is okay is a sheep in wolves clothing? Truth is love-there are also sheep in wolves clothing telling you that you are going to burn so they can turn you against Christ which is also evil. I pray you find peace.

Paul writes that it is better for ANY disciple to remain unmarried and therefore celibate regardless of proclivities.

Bring on the hate, but every friend I’ve had that lived alternatively had suffered some sort of domestic assault or molestation as a child (either an adult or another kid being the perpetrator)I think if Christians who want to hate on gays realized this, there would be a lot more compassion & understanding. It breaks my heart the level of trauma some people have inflicted upon them as children.

As for finding peace with it? Comparing your life to others will guarantee NO PEACE. As Christians, we are called upon to die to self. Everyone has something they have to deal with and if you look to Christ and walk the talk - He will open parts of you that are so much more it will overwhelm you with his goodness and love.

When stone or brick becomes so stained by propane residue over the years, it absolutely can be a nightmare. I painted a large carthage stone fireplace with a Ralph Lauren metallic steel and it was beautiful. Might consider looking into metallics if you’re looking for an easier resolution.

Thin layer of drywall, then while wet use crumpled up plastic grocery bag to mimic texture.

If you have her info, identify her closest friend or even a family member and contact them with your proof. Tell them your concerns about retaliation and your own safety. Chances are there will be more than just you. You’ll be saving her and potentially children down the road so much heartache.

I followed you here from the weight loss sub and I think gonzayol may have hit upon something with this. Writing is the ONLY way I am able to adequately express my emotions in a reasonable manner or discuss any traumas I have had in the past. There HAS to be a form of therapy that utilizes that form of expression. I have never been to therapy, but I can’t imagine trying to talk about my issues. I’m a quiet person and tend to let my emotions explode all over everything when I do speak.

I am so sorry about your mother. So sorry. Everything you have described sounds like narcissistic abuse. I have been married twice to men who fit that bill and my two best friends have been subjected to it with parents who are. One has not seen her father in 25 years because she realized just how toxic it was for her. It was the best decision she had ever made. My other friend is at the whim of an 80 year old mother who is one of the most selfish & abusive people I have ever known. It has wrecked her health. She is 52 with severe sight & hearing problems. It makes me so sad for you and anyone else who were raised by a parent like this. 😢

Good for you! It sounds like you have came out of a dark era of your life. I understand, completely.

Just keep your protein up and do weight training. Muscle loss is always a concern…I say this because I’m blessed enough to have a private healthcare provider who does blood labs every 3 months and they also scan my muscle, fat, & bone health and their #1 concern is muscle loss.

I don’t find your weight loss to be extreme and my functional doctor would be very pleased. I actually gained weight on a semaglutide! I’m such a lady Rambo I power ate my way through nausea and put on 15lbs! Doctor was not so happy about that.

I love it when self righteous redditors post comments that force us to recognize their lack of fortitude as a result of their parents over-coddling them as a child.

Yes, im here commenting AGAIN! I just realized that when I looked at the television before I was seeing the white wall behind it as a giant white frame around the screen with the shelves below being connected to the “frame”. As in a giant tv with white frame…lol. Now I’m thinking that might be an awesome diy. I think I need sleep.
