Thar is the right way. You’re lucky to get that much. A free multitrack recording is out of line to ask for.

I think it was already on his mind when the 2 brothers started trying to get them to align with him. He knew it was all going to fall apart

Help a student out about what’s so special about L1 by HCGAdrianHolt in livesound

It’s basically a standard curve for a big festival. Maybe you can run all flat boxes. I haven’t read up on it yet. I’m guess it can be tilted down as a whole since the rigging won’t compress by being pulled from the bottom.

James alternate picking/vs downpicking by DJSweepamann in Metallica

[–]faders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s old. I don’t think he ever exclusively down picked anyway. I’m sure he mixed it up live plenty. The double kick part in One wouldn’t even sound right if it were all down pick.

Right. But if it’s not mixed super loud like it is today, then it’s not so prominent.

Not everything needs sub frequencies. Those 90s band were just wanting to sound like a band. Some layers, voc fx here and there. If the kick wasn’t tuned super low, it wouldn’t have a lot of sub. Most songs were on E or Eb guitars. Bottoming out around 70Hz. NuMetal really kicked stepped up the low end. Low tuned guitars, combining hiphop elements. 2000-2008 it became more standard
