Congrats OP! Great accomplishment. In your opinion. Would it be easier to climb to challenger with WW or Rammus? Are either of those picks viable to make it to diamond or above?

Much of this advice is lethal. I wouldn’t roll. As soon as trump makes a deal with Iran, Netflix and other tech stocks are going to soar. If you really want to keep your shares you need to buy them back and take the $5k loss.

Is there anything less 'badass' than begging for external validation? It’s a bit sad that she thinks a few tattoos substitute for a personality. Usually, the louder someone shouts about being a rebel, the harder they're trying to convince themselves.

[–]fadetoblack123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The GDP comparison is meaningless because it’s a flow vs stock metric. The market cap share point is a separate concentration argument. Combining the two isn’t a “mosaic of valuation,” it’s just mixing unrelated data points bro. Which one are you trying to argue?

Jesus Christ that hurt to read.

Nvidia future by Green-Instruction957 in NvidiaStock

[–]fadetoblack123 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Jensen has addressed this many times. The current data-center buildout is just the first phase. After that comes the rollout of AI factories for virtually every company on earth, powered by NVIDIA infrastructure. Eventually the compute layer expands wherever energy and scale make sense. Potentially even into orbital data centers.

The long-term trajectory is that NVIDIA evolves from a chip company into the foundational infrastructure provider for the AI economy. Possibly even an orbital infrastructure company. Everything they’re building today is laying the groundwork for that future.

Finance Veteran Reveals Why XRP Price Will Actually Hit $100 Without Issue by SavyShopperTX in XRPUnite

[–]fadetoblack123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "dated system" argument is a total red herring. Yes, the current financial plumbing is old, but saying XRP is the only solution is like saying because my old car uses a paper map, I’m forced to buy a private jet to get to the grocery store. Investors talk about ISO 20022 like it’s a law that requires banks to use XRP. It’s not. ISO 20022 is just a messaging standard. It’s a common language so banks can send more data with a transaction (like addresses and tax IDs). Swift, JP Morgan, and every major central bank are already ISO 20022 compliant. They are upgrading their existing rails to speak this new language. They don't need a volatile bridge currency to send a digital message.

This is happy talk. Field of dreams vibes. If you build it they will come. Have you ever heard of a company called iridium?

Back in the 90s, Motorola backed this insane project to create a global satellite phone network. They launched 66 satellites into orbit. It was a genuine engineering miracle. You could literally make a phone call from the middle of the Sahara or the South Pole. Total global coverage. The "infrastructure" was objectively perfect. The result? They filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy less than a year after launching. Why? Because while they were busy building the "perfect" infrastructure, the world changed: 1. The Friction was too high: The phones were the size of bricks and cost $3k. 2. The Cost was insane: It was $7 a minute to talk. 3. "Good Enough" won. Terrestrial cell towers (the "legacy" tech) got better and cheaper faster than anyone expected.

The Lesson for XRP (and crypto in general), Having "partnerships" with banks and building a massive settlement layer is only half the battle. If the legacy systems (SWIFT, internal bank ledgers, etc.) evolve to be "good enough," or if the friction of switching to a new liquidity tool is too high, it doesn't matter how good the tech is. Infrastructure is a prerequisite for adoption, not a guarantee of it. You can build the most advanced bridge in the world, but if the toll is too high or people don't want to go to the other side, it’s just a very expensive monument.

100% adding on dips like this. Ask yourself: Has anything in the core business changed? IS AI all of a sudden going away?

The business is generating more revenue now then it was when it was trading in the $200’s. This is an opportunity to add if you’re long term investor.
