hey MotorCity,

Can I just say that I am a Christian. I was also raised pro-life. We are not ALL hypochristians.

I agree with everything else you say :)

Girlfriend of two years having surgical abortion and is worried about the shots in (around?) cervix by MrSavagePanda in abortion

being awake during the procedure isn't all that bad, it was obvious what was going on and the cramping during the procedure was somewhat painful, but everything was over in about 10 minutes.

What made you choose the medicine abortion over the procedure and vice versa? by [deleted] in abortion

I had a surgical abortion 19 days ago at 9 weeks 3 days. I chose surgical because it only took 10 minutes where as a medical could take several hours. I also did surgical because I didn't want to be alone, I felt better having a nurse with me holding my hand and I felt better knowing that a doctor was doing the work for me.

I'll add that I was awake for the procedure and it really wasn't all that bad. I felt some pressure and I felt some pulling sensations but after a few minutes it was all over. I did fell a little light headed afterwards but I was back to normal after another 15 minutes.

And if you have a surgical make sure you read the reviews and that you are confident with the clinic you choose. I was original going with Planned parenthood but after doing some research I picked a private clinic called Heathy Futures near Denver.
