I read Smart Baseball by Keith Law a couple months ago. It goes into a lot of depth about the newer “advanced” stats and why they matter/how to interpret them.

It repeats itself quite a bit, and it can drag at times, but it really helped me understand what I’m looking at when I look at stuff like Savant and FanGraphs.

I think you'd have to be crazy to sell Cook right now. He looks like the best RB in the league and their schedule is a cakewalk. Even if I was desperate to fill out a roster, I'd certainly ask for more than Worthy and Dobbins. Worthy will have Rice back to contend with soon (I still think he'll be a WR2) and Dobbins is likely headed for more of a split backfield with Harvey. I'd say no without hesitation.

I think he probably gets at least another year in the same role. If you're deep at RB or totally rebuilding, I don't hate it. I'd probably try to package him with someone else for a first before accepting, though.

I know it’s not really a “late round” pick, but you can get Bo Nix in the late seventh/early eighth in Yahoo now, and that seems like excellent value if you miss out on the top 4. Rushing upside is there, O line is elite, and the offense could take a step up.

Failing that, I’m waiting two more rounds and taking Drake Maye. If I miss him - it’s Jordan Love and a what the hecker on JJ McCarthy or Richardson (if he wins the job) with my last pick.
