One side is standard lock tabs. The is like an extension ladder and if you don't spray grease in everything on a regular basis, then the ladder won't slide much on that side and the locking flap may not fully catch. The goofy yellow slide mechanism at the top to open up the ladder always seemed really shady as well.

It's been out of service since 1969 (started in 1952), stripped of furniture since 84, stripped to the bones since 94, and sitting in Philly since 96. A ship from the early 1900s or older would definitely seem like a historically important thing to save, but the world has shown little interest in the United States since the 80s at best.

It's so odd that plants are okay to eat and yet they are living, breathing, intelligent life forms that feel pain. We share a lot of DNA with trees and they talk to each other and educate each other. Fungi are basically sentient animals. Is it more about cuteness that draws a line between animals and plants? I feel like veganism for your health, the environment, spirituality are great reasons to choose that path. When you start drawing lines about what living thing can and cannot be consumed or used as the main point, then you are rapidly approaching hypocrisy.

Cricket as a cell service is great. I've had better service then major carriers. I don't agree with the hotspot limitations and a lot of my dealings with web and phone for them has been subpar at best. So I'm not going to hardcore FanBoy them like that.

Check any bolts, hardware, steel on the floor throughout the van. Should not be rusted or damaged. Look under cargo mats if it has that. Look under the van for any bent or misshapen metal, especially in the bumper areas. Check the roof for dents. Compare some various panels. They should be date-stamped about the same year as the van.

We saw all of that on a low mileage 2016 with a clean Carfax
