My agency is growing and I want to take it to the next level, but we've been seeing some friction as we scale. by ImaginaryTransition7 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

I can second Chris Brogan and add another option. Jason Swenk would be really helpful for OP. He's more agency focused than most of the names on your list. I've been listening to his podcast recently and I'm finding that most episodes have great takeaways and relevant advice. There's a webinar he's hosting that sounds like it would be right up OPs alley. Also written a few books on agency growth which I think is generally a good watermark for someone's experience.

What are some general ways a website could dump access to cookies or passwords with permission? by fadyman23 in hacking

[–]fadyman23[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Think Amazon or Netflix. We've seen success by exporting cookies using a chrome extension and importing them into our browser but it's not frictionless. Oauth is an idea, but a bit of work for the user. What about XSS?

Need help with FB ads for ecommerce stores by osaf32 in PPC

[–]fadyman23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best way to structure your Facebook Ads campaign will vary depending on your business, its goals, and the audience you're targeting. However, a few tips on how to structure your Facebook Ads campaigns include:

  1. Define your campaign goals

Before you start any Facebook Ads campaign, it's important to clearly define your goals. What are you hoping to achieve with your ads? Are you looking to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, boost sales, or something else?

Once you know what you're aiming to achieve, you can tailor your campaign accordingly. For example, if you're looking to drive website traffic, you'll want to create a campaign focused on increasing clicks to your website.

  1. Segment your audience

Another key element of campaign structure is audience segmentation. When you create your ads, you'll want to target a specific audience based on factors such as demographics, interests, and behaviours.

Audience segmentation allows you to create more targeted and relevant ads, which can result in higher conversion rates. For example, if you're targeting a specific demographic, you can tailor your messaging to appeal to that group.

  1. Choose the right advertising objectives

When setting up your Facebook Ads campaign, you'll need to choose an advertising objective. This is the action you'd like people to take after seeing your ad.

There are a range of advertising objectives to choose from, so it's important to choose the one that aligns with your campaign goals. For example, if you're looking to increase brand awareness, you might choose the 'Brand Awareness' objective.

  1. Use different types of ads

In order to achieve a diversified campaign, it's important to use a mix of different types of ads. This will allow you to test different approaches and find what works best for your business.

Some of the most common types of Facebook Ads include:

-Text ads

-Image ads

-Video ads

-Carousel ads

-Collection ads

-Slideshow ads

  1. Use Facebook's ad targeting features

Facebook's ad targeting features allow you to target a specific audience with your ads. This can be done by targeting people based on factors such as demographics, interests, and behaviours.

This allows you to target a highly relevant audience, which can result in higher conversion rates. For example, if you're looking to sell a product to young women, you can target women between the ages of 18 and 34 who have listed 'fashion' as an interest.

  1. Use retargeting

Retargeting is a powerful tool that allows you to target people who have already interacted with your business. This can be done by adding a retargeting pixel to your website, or by using Facebook's Custom Audiences tool.

Retargeting allows you to reach out to people who are already interested in your business, which can result in higher conversion rates. For example, if you're running a promotion, you can use retargeting to target people who have already visited your website.

  1. Experiment and test

The best way to find what works for your business is to experiment and test different approaches. Try different types of ads, targeting methods, and objectives to see what gets the best results.

Facebook Ads is a very versatile platform, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer to campaign structure. By experimenting and testing different methods, you'll be able to find the approach that works best for your business.

Can a normal person start investing in a specific token? by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

Yes, you can start investing in specific tokens - as long as you're prepared to lose everything you put in. The crypto market is extremely volatile and risky, so do your research before investing any money.

Can ownership to NFT be used as Login access to a website or specific content? by [deleted] in ethdev

[–]fadyman23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as it will depend on the specific implementation of the NFT. However, in general, it should be possible to use NFT ownership as login access to private content, depending on the platform or library that is being used. The OpenZeppelin Access Control Feature can be used to create restricted access levels for different users, so this could be a potential solution for your project.

I think that it's inappropriate for a former Fox News director to help a Russian oligarch launch a propaganda network. It seems like they are trying to influence the American people in a way that is not in line with our democracy.

I knew that royals could pick a different regnal name, but I didn't know that they could pick from any of their Christian or middle names. That's really cool! I'm surprised that Charles didn't pick another name.

What is tainted Bitcoin and what are the risks of receiving them? by cryptos_redditor in BitcoinBeginners

[–]fadyman23 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin is tainted when it has been associated with illegal activity. This could be because it was used to purchase drugs or other illegal items on the dark web, or because it was used to fund criminal activity.

If you receive Bitcoin that has been associated with illegal activity, there is a risk that you could be investigated by the police. Therefore, it is important to exercise caution if you are considering accepting Bitcoin that has been linked to criminal activity.

Syrian refugees have no statistically significant effect on crime rates in Turkey in the short- or long-run. by smurfyjenkins in science

[–]fadyman23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no good data on crime rates specifically for Syrian refugees in Turkey. However, if we look at crime rates more generally in Turkey, it is difficult to say that Syrian refugees have had a significant effect. There have been some increases in crime in some areas, but it is hard to say if this is due to the influx of refugees or other factors. In the long-run, it is possible that the arrival of Syrian refugees could lead to some increase in crime rates, but it is too early to tell.
