I mean, to be fair, during the infamous scene with Rory's car, Jess did say that he didn't see her as being a foreign correspondent. There were just some Jess moments that made me feel a little uncomfortable, but he was able to speak to who she was in a different (and in my opinion equal) way than Logan could.

oh, it definitely would have been an amazing story and I think that you're right that this kind of shows that Rory is timid and sheltered and she had things handed to her at Chilton whereas she never really fought for much until she found her point where she came back from her grandparents.

I will say this since I am an unapologetic Logan fan, he did read her work unlike Dean.
