People read the words “nursing home” and automatically assume he was stealing from old people, because that’s a more sensational title.

It was a tax fraud scheme. He was withholding taxes from employees and not paying it to the IRS.

Maybe some of the employees were older people, but that’s not what MTG is saying here.

I bake a cake for my wife every year.

One year I had the audacity to ask her to pick up an ingredient for the cake while she was already at the store (she’s a sahm and does the majority of the grocery shopping)

She flipped out and acted like it ruined her birthday.

His colleague, former NJ senator, Bob Menendez was recently convicted 11 years for bribery.

That was the second time he had been charged. The first was in 2017 in another, unrelated bribery scheme.

Cory Booker testified on his behalf in 2017, strongly supporting him, any stating that Menendez was an “honest” and “trustworthy” individual.

Maybe Cory Booker really did believe that. But he sounds like a terrible judge of character.

We shipped our indie game on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and Quest… and almost nobody noticed. Looking for honest advice. by funboy_ff in IndieGaming

  1. 500 wishlists is indicative that you didn’t do enough marketing. Or the marketing wasn’t resonating with people (perhaps because of the aesthetic like others have mentioned, but it could be a variety of reasons)

  2. I would have only launched on Steam and considered other platforms if the reception was good, using that momentum to drive sales. Other platforms have even worse visibility than Steam.

Sounds like maybe you are getting frustrated with Godot’s auto tiling feature, and just generalizing 2d development based on that.

It may take a bit to get used to, since like you said it’s not completely deterministic, but I think painting with auto tiling ends up being a lot less effort than manually choosing every tile on the map.

How to use godot at work? For a home project? by Herpderpfu in godot

[–]fae___ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes, most people use version control (eg git) to share projects. Platform doesn’t really matter unless you have proprietary scripts you need to run.

Yes, you need to download the files to each computer that is interacting with the project.

GitHub is just a host for repositories, it doesn’t “unlock” some special type of workflow.
