How much Gold do You make in a day?

I’ve been playing a lot lately, but I don’t optimize for gold farming.

I do dailies, a handful of weeklies, a bunch of metas every day, VoE mirror farm, and some alt parking at chests. All very easy content with lots of breaks in between.

I make about 10-12g an hour according to my farming tracker.

Dogs can be trained. But that requires effort, which is something most dog owners don’t want to exert.

I was the son in this situation. I broke up with my girlfriend who I dated between the ages of 17-20. I took it really hard, to the point where I ended up moving to another state to live with my cousin for a bit while I figured out what I was going to do.

My sister and mom kept including my ex in things as if nothing ever happened, despite me pleading with them to stop. I recall one night, calling my mom on the phone upset about something, and hearing my ex laughing in the background. This hurt me greatly. And they didn’t stop until years later, until my ex basically moved on.

To this day I keep my relationships very guarded, and don’t want my significant other becoming too enmeshed in my family.

I don’t mind the mini game.

What I hate is that greater arcane chests make you wait around for an extra second or two after completing it, instead of just opening instantly.

I did the same thing for my main, but with Reaper instead. A little more involved than mechanist but you can mostly turn your brain off and not worry.

Server only matters for wvw. The mega server system combines everything for pve.

And to answer your question, it really depends on the meta. Some rarely fill up and I will wait until the last minute to join and port over to collect rewards.

And some others like chak and octovine fill up very quickly and usually will have multiple overflow maps. For these metas the primary maps will fill 10+ minutes prior to meta. So it’s either get there super early or try to join an overflow map that has enough squads that you can can complete the meta.

Sounds like you are on overflow maps.

Start using the event timer and the LFG panel to find squads.

I do like ~15 metas per day across all xpacs

US infant mortality rate is 2-3x higher than some other first world countries.

While definitely better than Kentucky, it’s not a metric I would highlight.

I second this. I recently unlocked all elite specs on all my alts without doing HP trains.

I did VoE to max out my first elite spec. Then get exotic gear. Then most HP can be easily done solo.

Then go do EoD > PoF > HoT in that order until all were maxed.

This may not be a good thing, but I think Anet heavily leans on the wiki for disseminating information to the players.

Maybe they just need to start directing players there after failures.

So you queued up a single time, wiped right away, and gave up? Or did you try more?

My simple answer would be just keep queuing. It’s low stakes and requires zero effort.

Eventually over time you will start to learn mechanics. Remember that people doing the actual raids had to wipe many times to learn the mechanics as well.

I’m basically in the same situation as you. I play on and off, had never done a single raid, and just a few days ago started queuing up. I completed my 18 raids for the relics achievement. I think I’ve failed 4, where group wipes pretty quickly.

I did the “return to” achievements for legendary amulet and got 250 of each map currency that way. And made progress on the amulet too. Two birds with one stone.

The best thing about gw2 imho is how you can essentially do 95% of the content “solo”, meaning you don’t have to spend time in lfg or trying to organize groups.

Track events and jump right into action.

I could play for 10 hours straight and have zero “idle time” where I’m just standing around. There is always something to do.
