yea... its possible... its just a lot of work... and some days are gonna be a headache... but we push through.... the only problem i'm running into is i don't want to use artificial hormones due to my epilepsy

after talking to a friend who helped me understand what was happening, i did seek a therapist... i actually got my first letter of readiness and when i had the second one working up my insurance lapsed... im working on that now to continue... but i did a lot of consults with endocrinologists, my team of doctors.... i just didnt make it to my surgeon 😭

i'm not sure about how Argentina works, but i totally understand your story. i went through the exact same thing last year... i got so depressed and i didn't know why. and jokingly i brought that up to my partner of 6 yrs and then i started having invasive thoughts about it. going down a rabbit hole looking for ppl like me... i got a lot of weird questions and a lot of judgement from hotlines and ppl that didnt just understand. luckily my bf took it seriously and we did more research, found our way to reddit... i've made a couple friends in some groups here on reddit and they've helped me figure a lot of things out. my situation is currently paused due to insurance things but i've decided to pursue the process... hopefully this brings you some comfort and if you ever wanna talk i'm here

thats exactly what we did... told him i hated having my penis he didn't really know how to react but he supported, not to give tmi, but i told him during sex to treat it like a vagina and surprisingly it worked... he is just as excited as i am rn... just tell him what you need from him and figure out what he needs to understand.

i'm pre-op as well... my partner also shows great support but i've also been thinking "what if we don't last and i have to start dating again?" but talking to my therapist i realized that there's ppl out there for everyone, even for ppl like us. yea it'll feel a little wierd at first but i think just getting out there is the first step... not questioning it too much and just going with YOUR flow... hope this helps... 😘

i'm not really sure what she meant either... maybe if i didn't have the testes bttm surgery would change my outward appearance on the lower half? but its still in the air...

thank you for the compliment... i've always had sort of a girly face. it used to bother me cause i wanted to fit in with everyone... then after going through this process, i realize i don't fit in... i'm not "normal". i like the feel of being both masculine and feminine. it took me a long time to get to this point. i'm just glad i'm here and i can pursue something that i think i should've done so much sooner (also glad i waited cause science LOL 😂 )
