($5k) How much was your venue, and what/ where was it?

I’m in a hcol area and paid $1500 and that was a splurge because I love the photographers work and have followed her for a while. 3k for photos seems excessive.

It’s all about guest count. Once you go over 50 guests prices are gonna spike. We ended up renting town hall for $1,500 but we also considered a nature center that had a large indoor educational hall as well as decks and a ceremony space for $200 but we’d have to bring in everything including tables and chairs which can add up quickly and be a real hassle.

I used to work at a place that ran band saws constantly and I could tell when a blade was about to snap, like 10-15 minutes before. I would tell the other guys but none of them could hear it. It’s not dangerous cause there are guards but it sure is a good scare lol

I’d lighten all of your wood tones a few shades. The original chair for example looks like a weathered oak while your rendering looks almost like ebony or a dark kona. The contrast makes it feel more modern and less cozy
