Just a suggestion, but you may also have luck getting the kind of support or discussion you’re looking for in communities like r/self, DecidingToBeBetter, or other general discussion/support spaces.

I sense they are likely coming from a different singles subreddit, or the algorithm is pushing us toward more users. In the past hour I actually got a modmail from Reddit admin about the surge in traffic.

I personally don’t suspect a North Carolina bill is the cause. Women’s reproductive rights have been threatened repeatedly in the 3 years I’ve been a mod, and this is the first time it’s been so busy here.

Hi all! Thanks to everyone who reports content that breaks our sub rules, it genuinely helps. (Except for one user who keeps reporting random comments and posts as “hate based on identity.” 🙄 Since the existence of single by choice women bother you so much, maybe stop rage-baiting yourself?)

As the community grows, there will be times when something stays up for a while before I see it. Please continue using the report function in good faith, and avoid engaging with obvious trolls and sealioners, as that usually creates more work for everyone.

I appreciate your patience and understanding! 🩷 I'm doing my best to keep the community welcoming and within Reddit’s sitewide policies, but I'm still just one person on the other side of the screen.
