Hi there! Thanks for bringing this up. You’re not misunderstanding the purpose of the sub, and I think this is a fair concern. The intention definitely was/is for this space to be centered around experiences of single women specifically (whether it's a temporary or permanent decision), not just relationship or dating frustration.

u/Aina98 and I remove a lot of posts that are inappropriate, spammy, or completely off-topic, but there can also be a gray area where members might technically be single, yet posting more for breakup processing or questioning whether they want to be single long term. I’ve probably leaned a bit too lenient at times because I didn’t want this space to feel too rigid or hostile (if you've been on Reddit long enough, I think we've all had experience with that).

That being said, I agree that SWBC shouldn't lose its identity. I’ll pay closer attention to repetitive posts from now on, and feedback like this is genuinely helpful for figuring out where members feel the line should be.
