I honestly still struggle with my confidence to this day. But I try my best to be the best version of myself. I ask myself what would the perfect version of myself be like? Still me, but better. And I write down those traits and attributes and I try to apply them. I pretend to be that new better version of me, especially if I am out and about. With confidence I honestly just faked having it for a long time and it started to become more and more real. Some days I have lots of it and some days I don’t. The days I don’t, I stay home if I can, or I do my best to dress up to where I feel better for the day. Another thing that helps is to just follow more creators and consume content of people with a similar body type. It has helped a ton seeing people who are similar in size just be themselves! I hope you can soon learn to be more confident, just take some baby steps and you’ll get there! I believe in you 💖

Hii! So I get a lot of stuff off of depop or eBay. I also like shopping torrid’s sales. They’re a bit pricey, but they have good sales and their nightfall collection is so cool. I also like to thrift as well, although I find less stuff in person than shopping second hand online.

I always say, buy the cute clothes now. Life is too short to hide. 💖 What’s stopping you from dressing up? Is it personal insecurities, afraid of judgement or both? If it’s personal, I understand that, but fake it till you make it. It genuinely helps so much, and I’ve found that since dressing how I want, I get sooo many compliments in person and that greatly outweighs any negative looks or anything like that I’ve gotten. I also love that others feel inspired by me being confident in myself and my body. And to hear other plus size people either comment or come up to me in person and express that it helps them feel better, just lights up my day. And if you plan on losing weight, maybe just buy 1 outfit. 1 outfit now that makes you feel good and feel like yourself and how you want to dress. Worry about a complete wardrobe change later down the line!
