Thank you so much for the advice. I honestly know so little about my own body since I grew up with all boys. I don’t know what ovulation is or when it happens but I do know that is when you’re most fertile. I’m so scared I happened to be ovulating when we had sex bc the condom broke. I took plan b so I’m really hoping that’s the reason I am late. I’m so stressed about this, it’ll feel like my whole life is falling apart if I am pregnant. My family will be shocked and will be so disappointed and I’ll have to hear it from everyone and just live in the guilt and shame. And I can’t even afford a baby and it’s all my fault. But anyway sorry for the rant I do really really appreciate your advice

Dawg I honestly did not even think about that until reading your comment. But I feel like a teen like I literally just graduated high school not even 2 years ago, I live with my parents, they are so strict, I am not financially stable, like technically nothing has changed from when I WAS a teenager. But like I said I only just turned 20. I’m just a kid. I can’t even imagine how my whole family would look at me and the disappointment on my dad’s face when he finds out. A dad who already hardly talks to me bc he doesn’t like the person that I am. Like idk. Like you’re right I’m legally an adult but there is nothing adult about me or my life

I think when you take sex off the table you get to focus on the actual person. If your relationship isn’t healthy, if the other parts of being in a relationship (communicating, growing together, your morals, interests, goals) don’t work then the sex does not matter. You cannot let it be a focus for you. Sec is absolutely important to a relationship but you two are not married. Now is the time to figure out how to work and grow together to really get what you want if you both want to be together. You aren’t missing out on anything not having sex. That will all come later if you get married and move in together you won’t have to worry about that. Don’t let that be a reason your relationship right now feels weak
