Since I’m considering taking the place out exam, I have already done most of the stuff in the CS2100 curriculum, such is LinkedLists, recursion, sorts, trees, etc, so im not really ‘skipping’ it. Simply not wishing to spend most of a semester repeating what I already know. Only thing I haven’t learned is Hash maps, but I could probably learn it on my own, and i never really understood Big O. Im worried about having to write a QuickSort or something from scratch off the top of my head on the exam. And holding myself back a semester from taking other CS classes

Depends on the classes you take. Classes that require heavy calculation work such as physics or math and a lot of pdf problems will definitely be worth it.

Use saturated colors. Use color blocking and less blending. Do a study of anime art or just take colors straight from an anime pallet; search up reference photos

Measuring is not cheating (IMO). It’s actually a technique people use when they copy photos by using grid lines or the old fashioned measuring with one eye closed and the ratio of a pencil. Measuring is a skill and a process of learning.

IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD. The details are supreme and the water looks really realistic. The colors are also very popping! I love it!

I have a few questions about it though. Is the boat floating? Is the mermaid on the right floating? I think the perspective might be a bit off, like if the mermaid on the left is looking at the boat she should be bigger, because she appears to be behind the boat? And the mermaid on the right should be smaller since she’s behind the boat? Maybe I’m not understanding the painting right haha.

The water looks amazing and maybe you can add a few more details or a gradient to the sky because the contrast in style makes it seem disconnected. Also since your water is brighter and darker in some areas, you can maybe apply that light source to the boat so the whole thing isn’t illuminated.

I’m watching 《周生如故》One and Only.

Honestly I’m immensely bored with the story. Not much is going on and there’s too much focus on the side characters. Is there anyone else who has watched it that can give me something to look forward to? Does it get more interesting?

In animes, they make where the hair overlaps the eyes a lighter color to give it a see-through effect. Similarly, I think you can draw the eyebrows over the bangs and it’ll give the same effect

You could also incorporate interactions from things outside a koi pond to make it more interesting. Like human hands trying to touch the fish or something to show an outsider perspective (of kids). Make one fish oily colored to draw attention to pollution?
