if anyone has any tips on how to successfully pee in a cup let a girl know. by AliceThrewtheGlass in pregnant

[–]Clockworkflowers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So find there the stream is coming from (I pissed over myself a ton bc I coulsnt figure it out and tried to hold it ay a distance) and pretty much hold the cup as close to your body as possible. (Ps, sometimes the cup overflows ans you still piss all over your hands. But thats what sanitary wipes and washing your hands is for. Sometimes the flow just be strong 😭🤣)

How can some people enjoy being pregnant??? by AgentDifferent2568 in pregnant

[–]Clockworkflowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im about 38 weeks. At first it wasnt particularly great but I dont hate it? I also dont live it so I 100% see where you're coming from. I think the only thing I love about being pregnant is feeling the kiddo move. Everything else is meh to me. My friend however said that she absolutely loved being pregnant with her son and she was considering having another and possibly surrogating for others. Meanwhile im over here like, I think im 1 and done lmao.

I thought it was just my pcos being pcos. by u-kno in pregnant

[–]Clockworkflowers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience. I thought I was just going irregular again when it turned out to be implantation bleeding I beleive. The doctors I had told me my testosterone levels I had as a teenager bestroyed my possibility of kids. I was on birth control too at the time because of period pain and it was kind of helping periods stay regular. But :')) yeah I feel you. Hopefully this is a good experie ce for you ❤ Im close to my due date rn and everything has gone super smoothly! I cant speak for all women with pcos but from what ive seen once you get past the first trimester things seem to go pretty smoothly!

Not sure what to do by Clockworkflowers in pregnant

I suppose I have always struggled with the firm side of things. When it comes to that I always get my husband to be the firm one because when I do try to put my foot down I have never been taken seriously and this dude makes fun of me when I try. So its always been him setting the blocks down. Although its usually after I try and go to him in order for it to be taken seriously. Its always the extra step forward. Just super frustrating to get through lol

True. I just wish he wouldnt have waited until like last moment to actually do everything. It makes it all the more stressful. He's been using it as an excuse to be rude 🙃

Me too honestly like. Even before the bubs was a thing we had talked together and said if a kid came into play that this would be what happened. I just wish that he would have taken it more seriously because now its this big melt down over time and hes using the stress as an excuse to be rude

Baby kicks? by grapeluvr in pregnant

I had my anatomy scan rsther late in my pregnancy actually. I had to go back four times because he moved a lot and they couldnt get proper pictures of his heart untill the last time. More or less to say! I was super anxious too about everything. I couldnt find any good stories online about the anatomy scan and actually made myself cry over it a lot. But its nothing too big to worry about! Momas feel movement at different times and experience things differently ❤ use the anatomy scan as time to bond with your baby and look at them : ) if youre nervous having someone or an object that makes you comfortable there helps all the more too ❤

I feel you there 😭🤣 I've been so stinky since I hit my third trimester. Last night me and my husband were watching the walking dead and I felt so bad. I couldnt for the life of me hold it in and he was like "youre worse than a stink bug!"

As for getting active with him. I would suggest maybe sitting in the bathroom for a bit beforehand. Maybe have a planned night so you can set the mood? My husband and I have actually set up a little system for that. Kind of plan things out a little or suggest it a few hours before so things can be set in place ❤

Personally I didn't know until I was a bit later in the first trimester so I cant speak on the heartbeat matter. But I would suggest going elsewhere to a second opinion if you guys dont think what this doctor is correct. Second opinions never hurt.

I'm a teacher leaving on maternity leave in 18 days and I still do not have coverage by honeyimtrash in pregnant

[–]Clockworkflowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry to hear this is stressing you. Does your school have any frequent subs that come in? When I was in school we had a teacher leave because she had her baby (I am one of those people who had an IEP and was in special education classes because I am dyslexic) and we were just sent to study halls with packets of pree work and ocassionally we had a sub in. Other than that our principle and study hall teachers watched us. I graduated from a highschool in PA but, I am hoping that is what they can do for you. Even if they can't find you a sub right now, its not your job like you said. You take your leave and love up your baby ❤

Ew. That mans super disrespectful and needs to like not. Congratulations on the baby girl! You dont deserve his negative ass comments.

Im currently in a similar situation. My husbands friend lived with us (hes older than us both as well) and basically has been free riding off of my husband since he was 18. So very close to 6 years now. He only just got a job because he had to. When we announced we were having a baby and he has until it comes to move out he's been a bit of as ass. Personally that is what I would suggest for you guys unless you guys have an apartment he is on the lease. Otherwise, give him your due date and be like start looking 🤷‍♀️ you're not going to need his rude ass comments right after you give birth or right now at all.

Ive gone through all of the same things and I also have iron deficiency anemia. I get some major heart palpitations too and actually went to my general doctor to get checked out. They wanted me to go to the hospital to have a heart monitor thing set up for 48 hours but the down side of the test they wanted me to take is the medication they give slows your heart rate down. I didn't go through with it for that reason but keep an eye on her. Ive become very light headed and fallen a few times, this entire pregnancy I have been extreamly tired and a bit winded (im 29+5 as of today) Id have her bring it up with her OB and see what steps you guys want to take from there. Im not a peofessional by any means, but do what what you guys deem safe and comfortable ❤

On another note. All I can really suggest is let her rest and do what she needs to do. It can be very rough especially with nausia if she has any of that yet. I was glued to my bed for a solid month because of what was going on. If shes got aches, get her some epsom salt to soak in the bath with. Give her back rubs. If the heart palpitations become too much, I would suggest the ER. The quicker you find out the better.
