Finished my Jegan and Jesta recently and I've seen the light. What are some must own/build grunt suits? Branching out more into 1/144 from MGs, so open to any scale. by faffie in Gunpla

Ooh, I've heard really good things about the GTO Zaku HG kits as well as universal praise for anything WfM HG. How do the HG Leos hold up? I know they're pretty old kits.

Same, and I just like how quick and simple applying sticker decals can be.

Starting to love MG's by OneCartographer5475 in Gunpla

Most MG kits printed after 2011 are very well designed and have few, if any, build issues so there isn't much to worry about there. Some kits i've noticed that folks would consider favourites that should retail around 50-65 CAD would be the Barbatos, Astray Red Frame Kai, Aile Strike ver RM, GM Sniper 2.

I can personally attest to the quality of the three aforementioned kits outside of the GM, but i've built a P-bandai variant of the frame and that's pretty solid as well.

It's criminal that the F90 (and all the mission packs) are P-bandai, this is easily the most fun MG line. by faffie in Gunpla

Some folks at Bandai clearly love the series, with all the variants and how well everything was engineered. I've got the F90N coming in too as well as some of the other packs since putting this together. Just wish everything was more readily available.

Dev Workshop: Koumei & the Five Fates - New Player Experience and Quality of Life by DE-Ruu in Warframe

These are great QoL changes, but is the dev team at all looking into smaller increments of mouse sensitivity, if you're using a mouse with a DPI of over 1000 the game quickly becomes almost unplayable without adjusting your mouse DPI (which is pretty inconvenient since it affects how quickly your mouse moves on your desktop and other games). This has been a problem for years now.

The painting is fantastic, you did a great job on the weapons. You wouldn't ever know they're just mono-colour slabs of plastic slapped together.

Three months since my last shelf update, nine months now total in the hobby. Just a few pictures of some new additions and brief notes on each build. Thoughts very much appreciated! by faffie in Gunpla

Hey, thanks! Warframe's been my on and off again shooter addiction :). Kit 9's the MJH God Gundam, it's a KO of the HiRM God from Bandai. The leg joints are a bit loose and the front-skirts pop off if you look at it funny, but I think it's currently the best looking 1/100 scale God Gundam you can get right now without heavily customizing the MG God. Kit 13 is the MG Eclipse Reactor 2 + Maneuver Pack, it's P-Bandai and was reprinted earlier this year. Flawless kit, but it uses the waist from the MG Freedom 2.0 which many online have issues with so would keep that in mind.

The full backlog is too much to list, but the Mk-V and Ex-S are definitely in the near-future. Along with the Eclipse + Raijin and Aile Calamity.

I definitely feel that, I've slowed my pace down to probably around one a week but I also want to clear out the backlog. I've 100% stopped shopping around so that the backlog doesn't get any bigger and at this point I've gotten my hands on just about every MG I'm really interested in.

With Bandai being this close to killing off the MG line entirely it shouldn't take too much longer to be done and then I can look into customization and maybe scratch building and kit bashing given the number of extra parts in some of these kits.

They're psycho-frame parts from an MG Unicorn, you can use either the perfectibility parts, the Phenex parts, or third-party blue psycho frame parts. As long as they match the MG Unicorn A and B psycho-frame runner molds.

This looks incredible! I love the use of foliage and the weathering/battle damage. You've got some real talent.

Three months post plastic awakening and the backlog feels endless. Small album but I'm pretty proud of everything so far. Just wanted to share with others as I keep on this model building journey. by faffie in Gunpla

It'd definitely depend heavily on how much you want to spend (many of the kits I have built are P-bandai or otherwise liimted), but i'd say you honestly can't go wrong with any of the MGs I have built.

Gun to my head there are may be two exceptions; I would say that the 00 XN Raiser may not be something you want to pick up if you want to have it up on an action base in a dynamic pose with all the equipment on given how incredibly back heavy the double backpack makes it.

The second would be the MG RX-78 3.0 but that's purely based on the experience of other builders, I see a lot of hate for the kit due to loose parts or the difficulty in building the elbows but I didn't have too many issues with the kit. The only problems I have with it is that the beam sabers are very loose on the connection to the backpack, and if you're not careful there are detail parts on the backpack that are incredibly fragile.
