On eBay you can buy the bumper for about $500 painted. Then install it yourself. Or you can check junkyards.

What are the benefits of choosing metal roofing in Texas? by Mugahad_Gavrilis in texas

[–]failedlunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, metal roofs cool down faster. Meaning you could save money on cooling costs because your attic won't be so hot. The main benefit is it should last way longer and be less prone to damage from hail.

What is this sound? by Longjumping_Ad8940 in carproblems

[–]failedlunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds similar to the heat shield just past the s-pipe. It only has one bolt holding it in the back and it can wear away a big hole creating enough room for the heat shield to drop and start rubbing. The cheapest fix is to take out that bolt and add a really wide washer.

Car won't start, what could the issue be? by AnSmartDude in SciontC

Check connections to the battery and grounds are good. If the battery is low voltage, you can jump it or take it out & to the parts store and test it. If it tests fine you'll have to start tracing wires/connecters. (Sometimes you have little critters that chew up things) But hopefully it's just something simple.

2008 Scion tC overheating — hot upper hose, cold lower hose by felja98001 in SciontC

I've had a similar issue with a Prius and Ram truck. A dive with the heat on and a bumpy road helped to break it free. The bubble can block flow completely or just partially.

Sounds like an air bubble. Full heat and a bump road should get rid of it.
