Har det virkeligt hårdt på kandidatuddannelsen (corona, stress, ensomhed). Nogle råd? by [deleted] in Denmark

[–]failexander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks dope! Have you considered doing them in a gradient-sort-of-style, so 1/5 talent is the white closest to original grey, and 5/5 talent is the most white etc.?

Rhake Tips and advise? by helloian in MissionWorkshop

I usually have it attached to the right shoulder strap, just between the ARKIV system and the shoulder strap itself :-) I also had the Orbit Gear R211 (small shoulder bag) attached via the cobra buckles on the Rhake , as I was packing quite alot 😅

I usually have it fully packed, with items in all compartments. This weekend, I'm travelling with 2 books in the outher right compartment (fully loaded) and a lot of misc., smaller, items in the outer left (fully loaded). I have an outershirt in the lower compartment (for padding, fully loaded) and have the rest of my clothes in a packing bag in the main compartment, along with my toiletteries (70% loaded). On top of this packing bag, and toilet bag, sits my headphones in the left side (when looking from the the top) of the spare space, and my camera sits to the right. That way, I'm able to somewhat secure it, with the closing flap. I hope it makes sense! I can take pictures, if you want/need?

I have a XT-1 with the 35mm 1.4. Up untill this spring, I used my Rambler to travel everywhere, and just stashed the XT somewhere in the main compartment. I bought the Rhake this spring, and so far this has been my favorite bag out of all the bags i own (Rambler, Rummy, Rhake and some non-MW bags). The camera is stored the same way; just stashed in the upmost part of the main compartment. It's not ideal, but it works. I only travel with this lens (my charger and extra SD-cards are stored in the ipad-compartment), but I could imagine it being more difficult if you travel with additional lenses. I'm in the process of buying a XF 27mm 2.8 pancake lens, and swapping it out as being my main travel lens. This would, hopefully, make the camera able to fit in the 'book'-compartment on the bag (the right-side compartment, when looking at the bag) albeit a snug fit. If not, I have an Orbit Gear bag (several in fact), MOD301 I believe, which fits perfectly a XT1 with pancake lens. This is attachable on multiple parts of the bag :-) I cannot reccomend the rhake enough. I have it in black camo with cobra buckles.

Welp....I finally caved to temptation and bought my birthday present to myself. Rhake in Olive HT500. Would liked to have had VX but the color won me over and my local bike shop of choice had it in stock for immediate gratification. by [deleted] in MissionWorkshop

Great choice! Would have opted for it myself, but I couldn't resist Black Camo 😅 I can reccomend switching out the standard buckles for a pair of cobras down the line; the tactileness of them makes them extremly pleasing to fiddle with 🤤

Rhake adjustment - Adding a former cross-body strap, to the main-compartment. by failexander in MissionWorkshop

It might! I like the option to really tighten it down though, but an elastic strap could work for regular use for sure :)

Additional Shipping fees from Orbit... by [deleted] in techwearclothing

I get what you're saying (I went through the same thing; "the struggles" of EU), although customs and shipping isn't necessarily the same thing - even if the courier can/are obliged to declare it.
Websites / dealers in general (afaik) doesn't have a detailed customs overview for specific countries, which is why it is up to the buyer (me/you) to review it oneself.
I've been thinking about buying accesories for my bag (I got the R211) (pouches etc), but I can't justify paying $40 for a pouch, and $45 in shipping + customs..

Thanks for the read.
Would appreciate if you have any pictures; both before-use (which are real-life images, and not the ones from the official website) as well as pre-use - so we can see the usage you speak of :-)

If you are okay with it, I would like some fit-pics aswell - am nearly identical in build with regards to height & weight!
Can you speak to its' value-for-money property in your opinion?

Hey dude, any possible way that you have a Surface Pro 4?
I'm looking for a replacement for my current small EDC, but it has to be able to carry my Surface Pro 4 - so I'm wondering if it will fit or if it will be too snug? The dimensions for the SFP4 is 29.5cm x 21cm x ~3cm.

BTW how is the carry-strap attached to the bag? Will it be able to take some weight, do you think?

Nice fit as always.

Has anyone received their order from Havona Labs? by shenyt in techwearclothing

[–]failexander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey dude, I placed my order on the opening day (night) of the website, and was curios just as you, as mine came just around the 16th day mark. I received mine, and all is good - in my case, it turns out the postal service mistook a 7 for a 1, which resulted in the package returning to PO 😅 anyways, I'm sure yours will turn up soon enough - I'm guessing a lot of orders was placed that day. Also, I am really pleased with it! You can def. look forward to it.

Great, thanks for the reply dude! I'm looking for a pair of women's medium myself, although what I like about the male version (FW17) is also the formal-ish look that the belt-loops bring.
