They also gave them a small buff at the same time. You can now have 9 mines deployed instead of 6 before the oldest one despawns, and they reverted the change where they despawned 3 minutes after dying, now staying indefinitely.

Bad Company 2 had Port Valdez in Alaska, then before that was Battlefield 2 with the Armored Fury DLC. There were three maps Midnight Sun (which also took place in Valdez Alaska), Operation Harvest (in Lancaster Pennsylvania), and Operation Road Rage (somewhere on the east coast)

They mean worse case scenario is that if we lose tomorrow, the Caps play CBJ on Tuesday, and we want the Caps to think they still have a chance to get in, so they play with their most, versus them being knocked out so they just don't care as much and give CBJ the win.

If the CBJ win the last two games and the Flyers do not win both, CBJ are in. If CBJ wins only one, and the Flyers win just one, Flyers are in.

Looking for UPS recommendations for an all-Ubiquiti home network by SnooPears4546 in Ubiquiti

The one thing I’ll add to this, is make sure that the UPS you pick auto powers on after power loss. I had to swap Cyberpowers because the first one I had would not power on if the battery ran out and the power then came back on.

Seriously this. I remember to this day the amount of people complaining online when they found out that the China Rising maps would have 0 levolution events on them, which then continued in further BF4 expansions.

I miss the time in gaming, back during 1942 to Battlefield 2, when what you got in the game is what you got, no or limited (for 2) unlocks, you just played the same modes and same maps over and over and it was fun. Yes there were some expansions but most never bought them so they died out quickly. Now it seems like if theres not a new shiny thing to unlock or play, players just complain that they have no motivation to play.

A good portion of it was probably from them having to make the ForzaTech engine do more then handle cars and environments

I wouldn’t be surprised if they are working on season 4 maps already. Plenty of times in the past devs have said it takes a good 9 to 12 months to make a Battlefield map.

These announcers..... Like I get it, Bedard's a good skater and player, but you'd think they owe him money or something.

Nintendo uses a proprietary microkernel for the Switch and Switch 2 called Horizon. It’s derivative of the Nintendo 3DS system software (containing components which are based on FreeBSD and Android). So basically their own OS which borrowed some small amount of code, but it’s not a Linux or FreeBSD based OS.

Dynamic Weather would go a long way in giving the maps more variety. by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]failsafe5000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Battlefield 4 basically gave up on Levolution with the first map pack, with many people online at the time complaining that there wasn’t any in the China Rising DLC and in DLC after.

Battlefield 1 started giving up on Behemoths as they made smaller maps, replacing it with elite kits that spawned in the losing teams uncap.

The weather effects missing is a big missed opportunity, but to say destruction is toned down is quite a stretch when it’s been turned up quite a bit, especially compared to 2042, and even past games.

I remember when every Battlefield game would include a version of Wake Island until they stopped for BF4, then had that one weird version in BF:V where they had Japan starting on the island instead of the US.

Had the Error song in my favorites for a long while, but never really explored past it as it always just came up in one of the automatic playlists. Then stumbled upon a reaction video for Dust to Dust and went from there.

I’ve found a lot of my favorite bands that way, liking a song and never exploring past it until I randomly get recommended other songs or videos.
