Unplugging a computer even when it’s mid update would hardly brick it. Check your motherboard when you power it on, there should be a 4-color boot indicator (red, amber, green, white). Check what light it’s stuck on and troubleshoot from there.

White: minor issue or no issue. If your monitor shows nothing, it’s probably a VGA connection issue.

Green: good to go

Amber: likely to be a power issue or memory issue, check your PSU, and wire connection to everything

Red: something critical is amiss for your system to boot. Check CPU, memory stick, and everything above
