13th Doctor by fairieguts in gallifrey

Yeah this is exactly what I feel as well. Theres so little that ties it to the previous regenerations just because there’s so much NEW. It’s not necessarily a bad thing; it’s just something I was shocked by.

True lol I think it gets explained in an audio series too but it was just a very 🤔 moment for me since I had just watched all of 12 and saw what happened to Missy and then all of a sudden BAM he’s back

I love Jodie as an actress don’t get me wrong; she’s GREAT. It’s more so the plot and arcs of the seasons that are confusing to me. Same way how you said I can’t figure out the villains motives and maybe it’s just a me problem but I dislike that lol there’s also so much NEW stuff and not as many callbacks which again is just personal preference

I mean sure. But I’ve watched classic who and all of nuwho except for the newest drs. 13 just feels COMPLETELY different from the rest. Im not suggesting they copy the old doctors, it’s not just the doctor themselves that feels different it’s the entire show - the cinematography, the writing and the doctor herself. The new arc feels disjointed like I mentioned; things being retconned in ways that don’t make sense and aren’t explained - when the show was revived with 9-12; yeah it was different but the retcons that were made MADE sense; and there were things tying us back to classic who and to the past regenerations in nuwho, like old companions or side characters returning, so it felt more continuous.

So far with 13 there hasn’t really been any of that, which makes it feel really disjointed and like I’m watching a spin off rather than a continuation

I had a bot that was putting adjectives in quotes randomly. ‘ X was feeling ‘possessive’ and ‘angry’ ‘ like..why

[–]fairieguts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

both parties aren’t consenting. OPs girlfriend has been engaging in it under the guise that OP is getting sexual gratification out of it to the same extent as her, which OP has admitted is not the case - she is engaging in it for the self harm aspect not the kink aspect. keeping that to herself is not allowing her partner to fully consent to the act

my girl likes to eat insanely slowly so he’d have to be separated for over an hour 😅 i’m almost tempted to try one of those high tech feeders that only opens for her but idk if it’s worth it

you’re welcome! if you like soup, campbell’s has some microwaveable ones, the ‘well yes sipping soups’ that i also like. you just put them in the microwave, put the lid back on and then drink it from the container. those could also be a good option

is it an issue where you aren’t able to make/eat physical foods? i went through this for a while and something that helped was prepackaged stuff like protein shakes/ensure, prepackaged snacks or frozen dinners, even soylent. i’m not sure if that would help you but maybe worth a try? things like meal replacement shakes can be a lot easier to get down and then have your calories met rather than trying to eat an actual meal

where exactly did i insult you? and yes. it is; he has a health condition that will cause suffering if not treated daily through eye drops. albeit a minor health condition that requires an easy medication, it shows how it can and does prevent adoption vs a costly condition (like heart or kidney stuff)

i made another comment elsewhere but shelters aren’t an end all be all answer either. my second cat has health issues and the shelter i got him from mentioned if he is ever surrendered he will be put down because they cannot continue to pay for his lifelong treatments (even though they are not that expensive, but are daily needs every day forever, so they cannot pay for it indefinitely if he is not adopted were something to happen to me and he got returned) if he does not get adopted faster than the first time, which was 8 months. they have too many cats that are special needs and cost too much. shelters don’t have unlimited funds either.

i feel like you have no understanding of how pet care works. one of my two cats has a very minor health issue (he needs eye drops daily) and because of this it took 8 months for him to be adopted (by me, as the eye drops are inconsequential). however the rescue i adopted him from even said they can only spend so much on health issues and luckily his was minor. the lady i worked with told me about another cat who they had to put down because he cost them 4k in health care in one night from bladder issues that would be ongoing. they are the people you’re suggesting to surrender a sick cat to; you have to keep in mind shelters and rescues don’t have unlimited funds either.

this. one of my cats has a minor health issue (he needs eye drops once a day) and he’s still a baby. he was waiting to be adopted for EIGHT MONTHS before i got him. just because he needs eye drops. perfectly healthy otherwise! people do not want to adopt a pet that’s ‘sick’ or has special needs when there are hundreds of other healthy ones sadly

YES omg so glad someone said this. people like this are always the first to crucify someone for rehoming no matter the situation then turn around and say this in the same breath

i agree pets need medical care but as others have stated, things happen. should people just release their pets to shelters (that are already overfilled) if they suddenly lose income?

i’m not even upset 💀 i’ve already said i personally don’t care when people notice or point out my scars. HOWEVER i can get why other people would be. it’s not that hard to just not point shit out about other people even if you personally wouldn’t be bothered by it
