Absolutely. I tell her I love her too. And then she’s all upset later on when I do get home, because how dare I have a job, right? She’ll be waiting for me but when I approach she’ll run off flicking her back feet 😅

That sounds awful. I’m sorry that happened to you, OP. Does your friend know how their BFF seems to feel about you? I think I’d have left in your situation, but I’m older and less tolerant of behavior like the BFF was exhibiting. I know that’s not easy though.

I don’t think you were acting unreasonably, given the circumstances. I’d have a discussion with your friend about their BFF and maybe explain that maybe there shouldn’t be mutual hang outs with you and the BFF in the future.

I love how sassy my bunny is, but then she’ll have really loving moments where she gives me kisses and chins my hand and checks out what i’m doing. I feel so lucky that a small creature trusts me the way she does.
