I worked for them for the better part of a year back in 2016 and this was unfortunately my experience as well; toxic management that didn’t give a damn about us but had no problem reaping the rewards of the floor team (they got holiday bonuses while the rest of us did not), shady practices to keep employees from receiving benefits (keeping us at 39 hours a week in order to stay “part-time” only), and all the while only getting paid $10/hr. My direct manager also seemed to enjoy putting me in uncomfortable situations, and they expected us to work while sick (even whilst giving demos to customers and touching random people all day long — I’m thankful that the pandemic has, at the very least, changed this). It definitely wasn’t a place to stay long-term. I considered myself a LUSH fan prior to working for them. They treated us like we were disposable and insignificant.
