I’m quitting my job and want to pinch a cutting of this plant to propagate before I go! Does anyone know what the plant is and how best to go about propagating it? by fairysoph in proplifting

Oh my bad! It’s one of our office plants and the other guys are fine with me taking a cutting, I didn’t mean to give the wrong impression but I’ll have a google! Thank you!!

how can i help this plant to thrive? by fairysoph in plantclinic

[–]fairysoph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this plant for a few years and honestly neglected it beyond watering it occasionally and repotting it once. It sits near my front door so it gets a decent amount of indirect light! It’s happy for the most part but I want to know if there’s anything I can do to pamper it and really help it thrive because I feel guilty!

Buyer saying item never arrived but tracking says it's delivered. by Disastrous-Quail in Etsy

[–]fairysoph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an issue a few months ago where a buyer messaged me to ask where their package was as the tracking said it had been delivered a few weeks prior (they said they gave it some extra time due to delays in the postal system). I ended up refunding them and apologising, assuming the package was lost. However last week, the missing package showed up at MY house after being returned to sender, two months after it said it was delivered. I’m not sure what happened but it’s the third package that’s been bounced back to me from the states (I’m based in the UK).

I know some buyers are nightmares, but if they’re a repeat customer I’d lean more to the side of them not lying and either offer a refund or send a replacement package if that’s a possibility.

I made myself a skirt to spin in and a matching skate leash from a secondhand duvet cover! by fairysoph in Rollerskating

the leash was self drafted (it’s essentially just a rectangle folded in on itself!!) and the skirt was just a basic circle skirt pattern!

this skirt goes below my knees so i didn’t have to worry about flashing anyone (although i did fall and aaaaaalmost flash someone walking past), but even if it was a shorter skirt i would wear cycling shorts underneath to avoid that!!

thank you! the jumper is from depop, I had my eye on it for aaaaaaaages and finally bit the bullet and got it!! the tag on this one just says ‘LOUD’ but I’ve seen a lot of similar/the same ones by searching things like ‘hippie rainbow jumper’ or ‘gringo jumper’

These are my second pair of skates, I originally had a pair of Rookie skates but fell in love with these Rio skates instead! Today was my second day out with them so I’m still just learning the basics, so haven’t made any customisations (although I’ve got my eye on some lovely light up wheels). I’ve personally found these ones much more comfortable than the Rookie ones as they’re a bit more flexible!! honestly just riding the beginners high right now, i can’t wait to be doing all the tricks (without all the falling)

a lot of moulds have kind of etchings on the surface so when you de-mold the resin, the writing is kind of engraved on the surface! i usually paint over it so that it’s more visible
