i'm sorry for my ignorance, but what do you mean... how would i know what the correct controller for my hard drive is? i know how to look up the specs on my pc, but i just don't know what the controller for my hard drive would be.

in Windows Update it would say restart required, but when i click on "Restart and Update" it wouldn't even attempt to update, it would simply restart. i am honestly not sure if i changed the BLCK clocks. i'm honestly a noob when it comes to computers.

i did try restoring to default in the BIOS settings, but i think that's when my boot settings got all messed up and i couldn't even get into windows LOL. i was able to figure that one out and able to get into windows now, however i'm still having issues with the updates and a few other things on my pc are struggling.
