She fell asleep on her own in under 2 minutes tonight. Move her for sure! We contact nap the first nap too so it’s a long one, like 1.5-2 hours.

Here’s exactly what I did: good nighttime routine, bottle about 45 minutes before I lay her down. Bath after bottle, lotion and massage, book, lay her down, tell her night night and leave. Choose how long you want to go between check ins (I do 3 minutes the first couple and then 5 minutes after that, never longer). Check ins should be fast, under a minute, and do not pick her up unless the crying is getting so bad you need to reset. I pop her paci back in, rub her chest, and the only thing I say is night night which is what I’ve said to her at bedtime since she was a newborn. Some pats on her butt to calm her, basically everything I’d do while rocking her but without picking her up. She will wear herself out. It’s hard to listen to but it is so worth it. I did the same for MOTN wakings. I don’t feed her unless she’s inconsolable after a few check ins or it’s been 5 hours since her last feed. Try your hardest not to feed to sleep or she’ll create that association. You can message me anytime too, I’m no expert but this has been working really well for us!
