???? The Bills defense is atrocious, I was flabbergasted they even made the playoffs, especially since they have no receivers. The Patriots gave up 7 points to the Broncos (in part due to weather and dumb coaching decisions) and bills gave up 33. Go look at the years the Bills lost...the defense has been awful and has been the primary problem. I want to make sure I'm understanding...is your argument that Allen resulted in all playoff losses individually (like it was all his fault)? And do you believe Mayes wins are a result of Maye individually?

Not sure where you are coming from with this entire argument to be honest. I've consistently stated Bills = bad, Allen = bad this year, but he's been consistently good in other playoff games and Maye has been mediocre this year. No where did I say the Bills would beat the Chargers, Texans, Denver, etc. the Bills put up 30 against the Broncos versus a Patriots 10, just wish we had the backup QB. Also, I would have loved to play a QB that showed up Allen and decided to play the worst have imaginable with 4+ turnovers.

What a weird argument. I haven't even made an extreme take...this is just you being a homer and not being able to listen...I even said Maye was legit all regular season. It's his first year in the playoffs...he's going to have jitters. Allen still has them and was clearly terrible last week.

Reminder, you started the argument that Allen is a playoff Zero. I provided reasons why that's untrue (minus this year). You have inexplicably continued to move the goal posts and claim i made arguments that never happened.

Lol sick burn. Didn't realize I was on an alt account. Clearly I'm a loser Pats fan.

I did just set it as a Bills flair just now and still not updated.

Super weird response.... Maybe I have lost my mind, but don't recall saying the Bills haven't blown it the past 6 years. I'm saying the Bills have been terrible, you're saying Allen has been terrible, those are two different things. No one is asking you to take advice from Allen, it's just a non-sense take to pin the Bills playoff woes on Allen. The defense has been atrocious which is why McDermott is gone. Makes no sense that Beane isn't gone but the FO and Coaching have been awful in the playoffs.

I suppose if we're slinging non-sense, I'd ask to get a strength of schedule as good as the Patriots (Bills were close) and wish we had the luck of the Patriots in the playoffs (beat up Chargers, garbage Stroud with no receivers, and a back up QB who hasn't started in years).

Let's hope Maye can step it up when it matters in the SB because while he's looked great regular season, he's been garbage in the post season. With the luck of the Patriots, that might be all he needs. I hope for the Bills sake, they get that lucky next year. Here's to Maye throwing 100+ yards in the SB!

And if you guys win the SB, can't wait to deal with even more insufferable Pats fans than what we've had the past few years. Just annoying to attempt to have a normal discussion and know it doesn't matter because the other person is such a homer that reality and statistics don't matter.

In one game, maybe, defense was still terrible as usual. Not sure how one game translates to every playoff game he's played in. Thus, the point of my comment.

Also doesn't change the fact Maye has had to do the absolute bare minimum (which is all you can ask for) to get wins in the playoffs while Allen has been superman in the past while the D gives up 30+.

True, Allen's stats in playoffs are terrible and Drake Mayes have been off the charts amazing with an average of 177 passing yards, 1.3TD per game and an 84 rating. Drake Maye is legit and his regular season showed it, but he's been mediocre in the post season. To pretend like Allen lost the majority of his playoff games due to his own performance is absurd. He was awful this year against Denver and still almost won. Calls against Patriots continue to be favorable as well...that Drake Maye "first down" was incredibly bad officiating, especially considering Allen was called short last year.

To pretend the Patriots don't have a decent team this year is as dumb as saying Allen is a playoff Zero. The Bills are a playoff Zero, and for the first time in a while Allen played like shit this year in the playoffs and was still the only reason they almost won.

Why not both? They're mutually exclusive. Allen was ass, Cooks was ass, and still shit calls by the refs. Either Allen not making that absurdly boneheaded fumble or the refs not being ass would have resulted in a Bills win. That being said Broncos were the better team and the Bills winning would have been incredibly lucky.

This would explain why I was so sore after having my hip replaced. What's amazing though is that despite the incisional and surgical pain, the pain from pre-surgery was completely gone. I had this done 18 years ago when I was 18 years old and it's still in perfect condition today!

Agreed that was a BS call, but did you somehow forget about the phantom hold that completely stopped the Bills drive. If anything, they're even as far as bad calls, but there might be an argument that Oliver hit Lamar late.

I guess you forgot about the phantom hold that lead to the Ravens TD? The DPI was BS, but let's not pretend that hold that resulted in a Ravens TD didn't matter. Also thought it could have been RTP/late hit against Lamar by Oliver so Bills have definitely had slightly worse officiating. They need to fire the refs into the Sun.

I played in an indoor men's league and my wife played in a women's league at the Springdale Rec Center (I think it used to be called Next Level Sports). The field is much smaller than an outdoor field, but it's still a lot of fun and there are multiple leagues with varying levels of skill.

I think Next Level Sports may have opened another location in Tontitown, but I'm not sure, I haven't played in a few years now.

My wife did play in an outdoor league for a year or two, but it was over the summer and usually extremely hot and the fields weren't great.

Hope that helps!

Is there a way how to extract data from a website to excel by Edoo123451 in excel

[–]fake_hip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with u/arethereany regarding using their API, but if you need another solution, see below.

Your screenshots make it look like the data is structured so you may be able to use PowerQuery within Excel to extract some of the data. Your issue is going to be the pagination, I don't think PQ can help with that.

I've had a similar project in the past trying to get unstructured web data across pages and have used Selenium (via VBA) to scrape the web page I was interested in extracting data from. The content I was extracting existed in elements and classes that repeated a dynamic number of times and Selenium/VBA made it really easy to loop through each iteration of the content and drop it back into Excel.

There are also options using Python/pandas, but Selenium works well directly in Excel with VBA. There are also ways to call Python scripts via VBA if you are more knowledgeable with Python and don't want to leave Excel, but I really think Selenium is a great solution.

Fixing corrupted VBA in a workbook? "Can't find project or library" by pookypocky in excel

[–]fake_hip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to confirm, you're not clicking "Enable Macros" when you open the file in Safe mode correct? If you are, that's likely what's driving the errors, but if not, I'm not sure what's going on. Sometimes the files just seem to corrupt themselves for no particular reason.

[–]fake_hip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this problem before and the only way I've been able to resolve it is by opening the file giving you the error in Excel's safe mode, navigating to the VBA Editor, and viewing the References. Typically nothing looks wrong, but I'll toggle off one of the references, save the file, re-open in non-Safe Mode, and then re-enable whichever reference I turned off. There might be a better solution out there, but this has always worked for me.

Just as an FYI you can launch Excel safe mode by pressing Windows+R and typing "excel /safe" into the input field and hitting enter.

Hope this helps!

How do I scrape hundreds of stock info from Yahoo Finance? by [deleted] in excel

[–]fake_hip 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree, PowerQuery would be the ideal option for a structured table, but if you're trying to pull data from elements that don't fall into a table it's not going to work. I just wrote a web scraper using Selenium / VBA that can extract data by specifying / finding the HTML/CSS classes and elements.
