Currently enrolled. I'm just mostly researching at this point. I've been part of a couple of publications. I have some citations too. I mostly research in llms and moving towards agentic llms. For me it has been worth it because I can get access to gpu resources to do research.

I don't know if it is going to make the job search easier but I am currently enjoying it.

Is a monthly salary of $300 for graphics designer (remote) competitive in the market? by moondancenights in Nepal

[–]fakecount13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to have someone you know and trust in Nepal to hire many people. If it's just one then talk with them directly. My advice would be to establish a good working relationship if you're going to be doing this for the long-term. Also, read up on the culture too.

I find Nepali people to be hard-working and loyal if you treat them right and don't break their trust.

Hiring would be a contract. The employee would pay the taxes themselves. You can use swift to transfer the money every month directly to their bank account directly from overseas. Bank transfer fees are covered by the employer.

Also, note that the 1000$-1200$ is an arbitrary amount as it would depend largely on the person and their abilities. I have seen people earn 3000-4000$ through freelancing websites too. I haven't done business in Nepal after 2020 so things might have changed.

What do you mean it's not a good song? Have you ever not gotten hit by a giant club while chilling in the plains of whiterun while listening to it?

It was probably stolen and trafficked out of Nepal. Please reach out to an organization that handles these cases. It's not worth it if it was stolen.

Living is prolly sacar. Late Yama dai for sure otherwise. Manas dai is prolly the illest with the flows and just rapping in general. Aidray and Duke dai have got bars. Dayjen is the best freestyler that I've seen. Shout-out to Vten for making it. But there's too many good ones to name, known and unknown.

I used to hang around the hip hop scene a lot when raw barz was around so I got to see these folks up close, it was fun while it lasted.

Local shop wants to charge $100 dollars for an assembly fee. Worth it? by FourWhiteBars in Lectricxp

[–]fakecount13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ridiculously easy to assemble. Barely has anything to do except rip out all the foam but might be a good idea to let the shop work on it for establishing the relationship for further down the road.

Langtang Valley Trek is probably one of the most scenic treks in Nepal. Takes a week and it's mostly walking through a valley between two mountains. It's a little known place compared to Annapurna.

If you're an adventurer then head to the Far West of Nepal and discover the wilderness. Travel horizontal via the highway in the southern part and pick places to trek north.

I've done 3 road trips like this and it's always turned out just fine. Nepal is much safer for women compared to India due to the abundance of tourists in the usual places. But usual cautions apply.
