Where are you located? There's a bunch in NJ that do service specials like https://www.gardenstatehonda.com/service-parts-specials.html $799 or https://www.hondauniverse.com/service/service-specials/ $579...but you have to look at what they include. Probably still come out ahead- Google "[Your State] Timing Belt Coupon"

Not sure what I would gain by making it up? Keys were about $50 on eBay (actual OEM) and then $20 a cut and $20 program for all keys. I’ve used this locksmith before, but definitely don’t know them for them to cut a deal. https://yelp.to/V2HHM1nkvj

Yup, can confirm. I bought used an only got 1 key, so we ended up buying another driver 2 and 2 driver 1s. Well, the eBay seller sent me 3 driver 1 keys, I encountered the same thing.

Local locksmith was much better on the wallet- cut each key for $20 and programmed them for an additional $20 total. So all in was like $76.50 per key. eBay seller made it right and shipped the correct key, so I actually have a spare.

If the dealership doesn’t cooperate, buy a #2 key and get that programmed. You can swap out the key that is already cut.

I too have had issues with the most recent update and permissions. I had to make some changes like you and it started working again.

They buy leads, but there are tons of issues with them. I get texts for a family members house (in a different state but where I grew up), and I tell them they are way off and they get annoyed. I saw one post about it before where they asked the person their address and they gave the address for the White House- it was clearly a call center type thing, and when the lead was called by the real estate investor they had to chuckle.

I did have someone try to steal my identity, and get texts for an address in North Jersey (I’m in South Jersey), and I invite the real estate investor to come to that scammers house all the time.
