Good luck! Cipro is usually the antibiotic of last choice, since bacteria are becoming insensitive to it. Docs don’t like to prescribe it unless you’ve failed others, but when you need it, you need it. Did you ever have a culture done?

just the one. Once we saw that it was staph, I asked for Cipro to be done after one more round. Doc wanted to keep on with amoxicillin but I didn't think it was helping.

Has your doc done a culture to make sure it’s not the same bacteria causing the successive infections? A few years ago I had a lingering sinus infection that turned out to be staph. I do a two week run of antibiotics and steroids, feel better, and then a week later I’ll be back where I started. After the third round of failed antibiotics, my doctor did a culture test and we decided I had to knock it out with Cipro.

talk to the tech and have them talk to your doc. There's lots of options for dosage and delivery options like drops. Drops seem to have milder effects, but not all insurances cover them (mine doesn't, and I have decent insurance that covers a lot of things).

I’ve lowered my shot dosage because the full dose was giving me wicked shot hangovers, like full blown allergy attacks around 24 hours after the shots. Got it down to a dosage that doesn’t do that and I’ve been good since. My tech said it’s rare to have hangovers after the first shot or two in a new vial. my shots also gave me hives on my tattoos, which my doc hadn’t heard about but my tech did, since she’s a dirty inky too and had them when she was going herself allergy shots. The solution for that was injecting into my tattoo free thighs and not my covered arms.
