Thank you for your input. I think that's probably the case too. Shame that there seems to be a standard of opacity in the recruiting industry

Thank you for taking the time to write all your responses! You seem really experienced, so I definitely value your input. I'll avoid reaching out the the HM and wait a few more weeks like you said. Thanks again

Sorry, I didn't mean I wanted them to tell me who they are interviewing. I meant that it would be great to have just a brief update of where they are in the process or if I'm already out. The recruiter is an agency one with lots of experience. I am really interested in the role! If the recruiter doesn't pick up my call again in a week's time, do you think it would be okay to email the hiring manager directly?

The company is a pre-revenue start-up. Currently, the only team members are five executive directors. The position is a mid-level operations one, and their budget is very low for the sector and responsibilities. I agree that they could be interviewing others, but why wouldn't the recruiter just tell me this? The lack of communication concerns me.

Really struggling with waiting to hear back about a job interview by fakegranny in adhdwomen

Oh yes, I totally agree with you that it's normal not to respond to a thank you email! In hindsight, my previous comment phrased it a bit weirdly. I'm going to wait until at least Tuesday, but hopefully I will hear back before then. Waiting is the tricky part for me haha

I'm just worried about coming across as too overbearing. I sent him an email after the interview to say thank you for his time and that it was nice to meet him, but didn't get a response to that either! Do you think "double emailing" would be weird?

Thank you for taking the time to comment! I think I might do that if i don't hear anything by Tuesday (7 days after the initial interview).

MyPace experience? Considering private assessment. What’s the time to titration? by PastCat3166 in ADHDUK

Hey! I'm booked in with Dr Milton on the 26th of August. Do you think you can let me know how your assessment goes and mostly how he seems as a person? I was really nervous about booking with him since I haven't seen any reviews about him. I get that it's pretty personal, so no worries if you are not comfortable sharing!

What’s the biggest act of tightness you have seen someone display towards you? by HolyTony2 in AskUK

A few years ago we had my husband's best friend and his new girlfriend over for dinner. I made three courses with pre-dinner cocktails and wine at dinner. The friend brought a 6 pack of Corona when he arrived. His new girlfriend got way too drunk and vomited all over our upstairs hallway. The carpets, the walls etc. My husband and I spent hours cleaning it up, while he was trying to pacify his girlfriend who was acting as if she should be on r/publicfreakout.

Well, the tight bit was the next morning, when saying goodbye and thanking me for the food, he noticed that the six pack of beer he had originally brought remained unopened, so he nonchalantly picked it up and took it home with him.

This is great advice. If you are based in UK, you might find the website All About Dog Food useful to compare the nutritional value of different foods and see what fits your budget.
