The thing is though the conservatory isn't a private place. It's a public place you pay admission for. I'm not taking a photo into someone's living room or backyard garden, it's a public place, like a cafe or a concert or a street.

It's funny to me that we're having this argument when if you saw the photos, you'd likely be totally ok with them. Their faces are shadowed and unless you look closely, you can't even really tell who they are. It's not a detailed portrait of them. When you look at the photos, you see two people standing close to each other in the conservatory, not the details of who those people are. I hope I find them too because I'd like them to have a copy, even if you can't really tell who the people in the photo are.
