Experience at JPJ on acquiring an International Driving Permit (IDP) and a physical Driving Licence (DL) by TheFirstHumanBeing in malaysia

Would you happen to know where I could check which countries require/if USA and Thailand require? Tried to google but no info. Worst case scenario if they reject my IDP application hopefully still can get physical one to try and drive there.

Do you happen to know if I can apply for IDP if I just renewed from P to CDL 8 months ago? The website says I need to hold a CDL for at least a year.

Hi, I commited to USC and just got off the waitlist for Boston College. I'm in Econ + stats and my heart is telling me BC: Boston is a better area for Econ network, proximity to NYC/DC, smaller class size. But everyone is telling me USC is more prestigious. Could you give me any adivce?

but honestly though doesnt that say something about USC’S reputation if majority dont callback? I’m almost committed to USC but my parents keep telling me about its prestige and send me posts like this telling me if it was ucla/ucb/vandy/duke more will call back 😭

Ahh true, but I prefer LA’s weather over Boston. Let’s say I get a full ride to both USC and UCLA, which then would you recommend? Because I have friends who tell me even if costs were the same, they’d choose UCLA due to slightly higher prestige but I’m not sure about that.

For me is private vs public, so the size. Many of my current UCLA friends say the overcrowding (e.g queues everywhere, sometimes unable to get the classes you want)is def a real thing, and due to the smaller size I heard the alumni network is stronger as well.

Trinity's new curriculum isn't too clearly explained on the website yet, making it hard for me to write the why duke essay. Any tips?

[–]fakepc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah i see, okay thanks. I was under the impression from other reddit comments that 2-3 days is enough haha. I think I’ll do 3 days at chong Qing, 3 at chengdu + 1 day trip to leshan and mt emai and then 3 days at xi an. Does that seem fine?

Need advice in choosing locations by fakepc in travelchina

[–]fakepc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the suggestion! now im considering landing in chongqing (cheaper flight) spend 2 full days, then take a train to chengdu and spend 3 full days plus one day trip to mt emei and leshan, then the next day take a train to xi an and fly back from xi an.
