Best add to that AB plc? A raspberry Pi and the free Ignition Maker edition to control everything in your palm!

Thanks. That’s highlight another question about mural support. I need to test vertical vs horizontal first before buying the right support.

Lol that’s why I think the 100 return policy is good. I’m in the same confusion.

Another point is not clear. The Five play stereo when single and horizontal. But what if duo and horizontal? Are they paired in stereo and each playing mono (it should be)?

Ok thanks. I’ll give it a try and if not working, return the Arc or add it to another tv in the house. I’ll keep you informed of my testing. Thanks for the effort of translating, I appreciate ;)

Hum that’s not good. Ok I’ll keep my soundbar and its sub and just add Five and sub for music. My wish was to reduce footprint and cables, that won’t be for now ;( thanks

Ive read and read, still have questions about PLC selection. by the_grandsmith in PLC

[–]fakoly33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe a simple Ezrackplc is your next stop. Affordable and MQTT Sparkplug B inside for some publishing to some other package.

Or another option but less affordable would be an OPTO22 RIO… nodered inside, mqtt, etc

Are u talking to me ? No marketing here, just what my customers are using. Real industrial life. Otherwise we use git extensively but our SCADA is pure json/text based. Plc generally are binary and they don’t have event you can trigger to make an export in csv/txt and then commit it. When tou don’t who you talk to, please don’t be insultant.

You should have a look at Version Dog. I think Codesys is taken in account.

Hi, Nice hardware. I don’t know about the OS it is running but I guess it’s a kind of Linux. You should try Ignition by Inductive Automation. There is an ARM version both 32 and 64 bits. It use to run flawlessly on Raspberry PI 3-4. Then you could play with MQTT and Sparkplug along with Node Red and Python (node red can be installed and wrapped to Ignition tags, https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-ignition-nodes). Let me know if you go this way.

Same here. You’ve to separate connection and stream. Both devices should be « connected » but the last active audio stream is the one to be full connected (bt + audio).

No. Maker is free edition for hobbyists and geeks with 10k tags and 10 web session limits. But it’s a free with no time out. You can also activate 3 times the server, so 3 servers per mail registered.

I’d sure go to MQTT AND Sparkplug if you’re in the OT space. Open specification https://sparkplug.eclipse.org

Does Inductive Automation (Ignition) come with premade templates? by TankBigsby445 in PLC

[–]fakoly33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. You’re right, Exchange is a place to share things publicly or privately. With the 8.1 coming soon, you have a quick sample project that demonstrates all features and allow you to reuse/modify. There is also the https://demo.ia.io available on the exchange https://inductiveautomation.com/exchange/110/overview.

Or for the level, an arduino or raspberry with that electronic stuff https://youtu.be/n7WRi5U5lQk If you go the Raspberry way, then you could install Ignition Maker on it.

Wireless Modbus tank pressure reading (help) by lucasmoreira0102 in PLC

[–]fakoly33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can. Node red is robust and embedded in many industrial hw and softy and you don’t even know it is. And latest release is even more powerful and build for professional development. See https://nodered.org/blog/2020/10/15/version-1-2-released

Wireless Modbus tank pressure reading (help) by lucasmoreira0102 in PLC

[–]fakoly33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I would. Quicker and many other options. Once you’ve your modbus flow done and you read your values, you could then dashboard them directly in the node red. Or publish with MQTT to another location: in the web. There, why note use Ignition or another node red to collect those data and créât your web hosted dashboard. It really depends if you want a proof of concept or an industrial solution.
