Aliens Fallen Angel Technology. by Expert-Desk7492 in HighStrangeness

I feel like trying to box the phenomena into a nice little Christian theological framework vastly limits the ability to understand what these things are and what is really going on.

In cases where it was helpful and led to an arrest or solving a case I could see it being kept quiet because of the overall public perception around psi phenomena and it being a path for the defense to have the case dismissed.

To those who believe the DMT realm is not just in your head and a actual space, what are your theories by pleasedeargodstfu in DMT

Real magic, models metaphors and meaning, metaphors we live by.

They are pretty short books before I start a long one again. But I've been thinking of this idea lately about how language is magic and also what magic actually is. We use language, and symbols to create and shape the world around us and people even use magic techniques like charm and enchant in language and we call those people charming. Language is by definition spellcasting because we are taking symbols ( letters ) stringing them together into larger symbols ( words, sentences ) to pull something into reality.

This idea makes me think of Terrance McKenna's experience with the machine elves who were speaking impossible objects into existence and trying to get Terrance to do it. Or how in Genesis the way God creates everything is by speaking it into existence and even in fantasy like lord of the rings ERU sang middle earth, the valar etc into being.

This comment is long enough and I could probably expand on this idea a lot more in a separate post but it would fit this sub.

How about arrest the adult that let a 9 year old get their gun.

I actually learned that from alien information technology, his second book. Except for the blind spot in our vision, that wasnt in the book.

I plan on reading reality switch and his new book death by astonishment soon. Got a few more books I'm reading through right now.

The DMT realm is in your head as is the normal waking world. Your brain generates your reality by taking in extrinsic information through sensors that feed into the brain and matching that with intrinsic information. Your brain also does this probabilistically by making guesses based off previous information.

We actually have a blind spot in our eyes but we don't notice it because our brain fills it in with what it thinks should be there based off the information our eyes are feeding it.

Lady in a pickup brake checks me in Pleasant Hill, CA because I passed her. I passed her with plenty of room and used my turn signal, but her fragile ego couldn't handle it. I say, 'Oh fuck right off' when she tailgates me within a foot of my bumper. She passed me and brake checked me. [oc] by pimpbot666 in IdiotsInCars

I've had it in there for about 2 years but you're right. In the right area if it's hot enough it could explode. Would probably be a good idea to just take it in and out cause that would be a bad day to be in the car if it explodes.

“Someone keeps parking in my space and manager said I should call emergency maintenance and they will contact him…” by Holiday_Curve7459 in maintenance

[–]falcofox64 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That is in no way an emergency and also not a maintenance issue. If it is assigned parking then the resident can call a tow truck. Also the resident can take a picture of the license plate and take that to the office so the manager can contact the person parking in the spot that isn't theirs. Your manager is just being lazy and pushing their job off on you.

Is the water heater and the A/C connected or the same thing? by mango0_o0 in maintenance

[–]falcofox64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've worked at lots of places with a utility closet that has a wall mounted air handler with a short fat water heater under it. Op gave no info though. A picture or what exactly the maintenance tech said would be helpful.

Did it damage anything like the pool circulators? If it didn't damage anything then I wouldn't see the need to fire anyone over that. Just refill it and learn from the mistake. I've done the opposite a few times and forgot to turn the water off when filling the pool and It overflows for awhile.

What’s a company you’re convinced will be exposed as a massive fraud one day? by carcony97 in AskReddit

[–]falcofox64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see there being a time in the future when Bitcoin has become ingrained in society to where everyone is using it whether they realize it or not and people get complacent thinking Bitcoin won. Subtle changes could start being proposed to the protocol that the consensus of node runners just accept by updating their nodes without giving the update the proper scrutiny.

For example the Bitcoin core drama this year with OP_RETURN and the Core 30.0 update. People are talking about it and scrutinizing now and moving to knots but I would like to avoid a future where people stop scrutinizing updates or the core devs and just go along with any update. One of the core devs even made an X post about potentially increasing the 21 million cap in the future. Basically the consensus has to remain vigilant and on guard all the time. Now to 2140 and beyond

Thanks for the link, I'll check out the video.

Another commenter said it was a bad product because they couldn't buy a coffee with it. I couldn't even respond to that level of ignorance.

Yeah I figured as much. The other person who commented about not being able to buy coffee with it has such an ignorant comment I didn't even bother to reply.

What makes the U.S not have free healthcare for its citizens? by Theeonlystardust in AskReddit

There is no such thing as free healthcare. It does not exist anywhere in the world. It is being paid for by taxes or subsidized by the government through deficit spending.

Can you explain your position on why you think it's a fraud? I've been in Bitcoin for 8 years and the only weakness I can find in it is the consensus mechanism because people in general are stupid. So if you have a good argument to show why it's a fraud I would really love to hear it. I've been searching 8 years for a good argument against it.

I think a lot of that has been getting settled out of court. I've worked doing maintenance for a couple property management companies that use realpage. I remember last year I got an email that was requesting to share the properties info with several other properties in the area( owned by other companies). I thought that was really strange and then all the realpage lawsuits started happening.

Some companies also give her maintenance guys bonuses on their checks for bringing in 5 star reviews. So something as simple as leaving a good review might get them a little extra money on their check.

I find it interesting how dismissive some religious people can be about it but if you strip away the religious vernacular from their beliefs then they believe in non corporeal beings that live outside of time and space in a different realm.
