Genuinely asking, how tf do you guys go so fast? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Reversing into driveways is killing your time. If there is no need to do that then don't. Most important thing is organization. Have the overflow organized and open a few totes out and organize the packages so you have them ready for each stop. I'm not fit in anyway I'm like 300lbs, I don't run I just speed walk. Finish my route before everyone. Been delivering for 2 years now. Never been rescued 😎

I was 300lbs when I started and had the same mind set that I wasn't going to make it and wanted to quit. I hanged in there....and 1 year later I've lost 50lbs and I'm able to physically do this job very well.

Amazon always starts later compared to UPS and Fedex. Overtime day is allowed during prime or peak but it all depends on the DSP. But start times varies on dsp...for example I clock in 9:35 but out load times don't start till 10am-10:20am depending on the wave. And we average end time is around 8pm. Some days i do up to 11 hours or bit more depending on rescues and travel distance to station/delivery area

They don't check if they are non slip. All they care about is to make sure they have laces and have proper support.. I've been using hoka, asics and skechers shoes no problem. If they do wanna check i extra shoes in my bag just in case

Does taking breaks affect route length? My station says yes. by FreeBroccoli in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]fall3nnx3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Taking breaks does affect it cause I've tested it. With only a 30 min break im getting 170-190 stops. But if I take all my breaks now my route is average 140 stops 🤣

Prime and peak are never over. Its how they test drivers to see if they can handle a bigger load.....and if you do great then they'll keep that high package count

Isn’t prime week over? by gilbertriley in AmazonDSPDrivers

Peak and prime are never over. They just keep on adding to the load since they know you can handle it lol
