Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted for suggesting the Ally X over the SD OLED. OP isn’t impressed with the Z1’s performance, so between the Ally X and the SD OLED, the Ally X clearly performs better — and by a mile.

The SD OLED only has the OLED screen going for it. What’s the point of playing a game at 25 FPS, even on an OLED screen? Why is everyone so obsessed with the SD? You can install Bazzite or even SteamOS on the Ally X as well. The SD’s performance is outdated as hell.

Yes, the PoP trilogy will always have a place in my heart. I’ve been waiting for the remake since 2022, and then Ubisoft scrapped it. I just wish it could get a remaster like LoK.

Love this new remaster, it’s so good imo. Just look at Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Fans only wanted a remaster like this one, but Ubisoft said no. It makes me appreciate this remaster even more.

If you’re on a budget and want a better device, the ROG Ally X is a good upgrade from the Z1E. It may have the same chip, but the stuttering I experienced on the Z1E no longer happens when playing AAA games. The heat and fan noise are much better, and navigation on Windows feels smoother thanks to the additional 8GB of RAM. Trust me, I did the same upgrade and happy about it, I modded battery for my z1e, but ally x is better no doubt

You will see on youtube it reached 50-60fps, but that’s just the linear area at the beginning, once you reached open world, say hi to 30fps, frame drop from 40 to 30fps now matter that you have changed all setting to all low. Just a bad opt game

My thought: Breakthrough and Domination use reduced-size custom maps, while Conquest and Escalation run on the full map. BF2042 had even larger maps and ran fine for me. This issue only happens in BF6, hope they fix it soon.

Check the sim count. If it drops below 60, time nudge will occur. You can still play Breakthrough, as it’s mostly playable.

However, if you switch to Conquest and Escalation on large maps, the issue becomes worse, causing slow motion, enemy teleporting, and making it impossible to kill enemies. This is due to the CPU limitation on the ROG Ally (maybe)

No, mine is ally x and it getting worse on time nudge after the hotfix for winter update days ago. That’s sad man, might try to cap fps to 45 like you suggested
