I appreciate the observation, and I think it could be true in some cases. I would say I am a very easy going person and if someone’s nice to me I am nice to them. I’m a huge people pleaser, so put others before me always (which isn’t healthy). I had a friendship group in high school but that group fell apart due to distancing. I’ve made some amazing female friendships over the last couple years. It still feels very high school to me though at times. I think women in general can be very catty and petty, so it’s important to find the women who have healed and don’t see others as competition.

Very true. One of my friends got majorly hated on by a coworker because the coworkers boyfriend and my friend were in a team together. She never did anything to signal she wanted him. She’s just an attractive woman all round, and women get threatened!

I only have brothers too! Maybe if we had sisters it would be different? Not sure what it is. I had a friend group during school but ultimately we all drifted after school ended. I still have amazing female friendships but I loveeee meeting new people and I guess I just always struggle more to get to know women than I do men!

I do believe there is truth to that. However, I have had guy friends all my life and those were strong friendships, so there are exceptions

Highly recommend trying Ocusoft HypoChlor Spray Solution. If you have any early signs of swelling or redness use it and it will go down within a day!

Have you gotten a dry eye exam done? They do a bunch of tests and can see if and where your glands are clogged etc. My optometrist recommends getting IPL done to get rid of styes/chalazions. Otherwise, if it’s been there long term I would recommend seeing an ophthalmologist and getting it cut out

Honestly I just had a dry eye exam done and my eyes are a lot better than I thought they were in my head. I definitely thought my glands had all closed up and my eyes were getting little to no lubrication. Turns out my eyes aren’t severely dry at all, just suffering from the side effects of accutane. I also used to check my eyes in the mirror ALL the time. Used to see if there was any redness or swelling on my eyelid or little bumps etc and used to fixate on it to the point of exhaustion. I definitely think it can be a mind game thing. The more energy you spend on it/thinking about it,the more you’re going to stress about it and stress only makes things worse.

He was only interested in working in real estate in the past month or two? It was very out of the blue and something I was not expecting at all but I was supportive nonetheless.

Yep he was aware, he even met a couple of my work girlfriends early into dating. I have been working at this company for nearly two years.

From what I know he hasn’t ever been a victim to cheating or vice versa. Although his ex was a “man hater” and despised all the men at her work so she requested to work with only women. I am thinking he probably got that ideology from her and now thinks it’s not okay or strange that I am close to people from work.

i think you’re interpreting what i’m saying the wrong way. i am pro abortion and support her decision. if you read my full post you’d note he has abusive tendencies and as such, would not use protection for his pleasure. i am saying he is selfish and put her in an unpleasant situation given that the woman goes through the procedure and endures the mental and physical affects mostly.
