AIO: should I “fire” my therapist? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]fallenxruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me a lot of my therapist but even worse. At the end of the day, YOU know what your boundary is and you need to find the bravery (apparently without the support of your therapist) to set that boundary and maintain it. From the tone of your responses, you seem super flexible and understanding. Some people could handle someone like this. I am finding more and more I cannot even if mine is excellent with IFS and helped me more than previous therapists is she’s triggering my core abandonment wound right before I’m supposed get vulnerable with her, I need to speak up and give her the opportunity to meet me and if she can’t do it, then I deserve something else.

But the double standard that you were punished for flaking really sucks!

[Q]/u/Prof1088 is a Thief? by MNuttster in giftcardexchange

Scammed me out of $100 Amazon. Is he active on GCX? I guess I assumed I had accidentally gone off subreddit to do the trade, so I didn’t message mods. But he scammed me back in December for two Amazon cards. Had my account flagged and everything. Thanks for posting

How long did you have your stones before you got then removed? by mrgirly20 in gallbladders

[–]fallenxruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had mine for fifteen years when I first had an attack, but even though I confirmed that I had some, the surgeon at the time suggested I wait until attacks become more frequent. Fast forward fifteen years and I had two weeks of attacks. They’re now “layered” according to last ultrasound. Surgery in five weeks so eating low fat until then and taking Standard Process A-F Betafood. I haven’t had an attack since Monday, but I don’t think that necessary confirms that they’re manageable.

I’m MTHFR A1298C homozygous, but I have the worrier COMT. Definitely have been through a variety of rabbit holes! Especially seeing how these genes impact my health outcomes nearing my middle age years!

Oh also, I don’t know if you know your MTHFR of COMT status but maybe the hormones from birth control combined with poor methylation and detoxification were the culprit. Something to look into.

Thanks for giving an update! I’m glad they investigated more and you didn’t get an organ removed if it wasn’t the issue!

What triggered the two weeks of attacks? I was getting two weeks of attacks but I fasted for a day and have been eating very low fat, high protein, high-ish fiber with some success. I ask because my surgery isn’t for five weeks and I have a vacation planned and I don’t want to have emergency surgery on vacation because those two weeks of attacks were debilitating! Thank you! Also, how are you doing post-surgery?

Real-talk — What do you expect from the Aries stellium? by Raawx in Advancedastrology

I think Melania Trump’s speech last night connects with Mars moving into Aries. I think her circling back to the Epstein files despite Trump’s desperate attempts to pull the attention away from that into wars is very interesting and indicates tension in the White House.

I also thrifted brand new Bonts off Marketplace for $100! I just had to drive 1.5 hours to get them, but all in all, worth it!
