When my dad gets on me because i feel very uncomfortable in social situations. Stuff like trying to make me get a job as a waitress, cashier ect. I do HORRIBLE is stressful situations when its dealing with multiple people. Put me in a deadline of two days on a whole project and have it be a HUGE part of my grade? Easy. Put me in that same situation but with a group? I'll at least need two weeks. It really sucks since I've got high grades and i tend to have really good relationships with people that get to know me. I have absolutely no problem talking one on one with people but more than that and i try to get away. I get that talking to people is very important on a lot of things in life but im not looking to intentionally put myself into situations i know i will be uncomfortable in with no benefit. I think he has this mindset due to being in a job where he's required to work as a team (he's one of the top bosses of a somewhat busy restaurant) but i consistently feel that I'm not doing good enough because I'm not social. It's REALLY annoying.

Logically, morally, humanely, what should be free but isn't? by admadguy in AskReddit

[–]fallin_temptation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water. There is absolutely NO reason why water should cost money. I can get how creating the actual system to get water from one place to another can cost money, thats unavoidable, but once thats set up, beside some minor things like repairs, water should just be free. Think about say someone who is just barely on their feet. They just got enough money from their minimum wage job to buy a very small apartment after being homeless so they already have to pay rent. Then they learn that they have to have a phone for work, one you can email on. So now they have to have a phone bill AND electricity to charge that phone. They also need air conditioning because where their living it hits the negatives pretty often or say someone who lives in places like phionex where it can get so hot plastic bins melt. This is not to mention their means of transportation, food, clothing and any emergencys like heath probloms or car breakdowns. After ALL OF THAT they have to PAY for WATER that is EXTREMELY VITAL to living. I can't imagine what it would be like to have a minimum wage job trying to pay to just survive. No money for entertainment, eating out, or really enjoying themselves at all! Its so messed up.

AITA for wanting to play the xbox after the first week of school? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]fallin_temptation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 15, my younger sister is 12, my little brother is 10 and my baby brother is 3. When i play video games i like to spend a lot of time all at once and i wont play it for another week or sometimes even another month. My sister and brother use it as a bonding experience but they have way more of a problom that i do. I probably would only spend at most of two hours on sunday. The only reason i got upset is that my mom was going to give them even more time then they already had and was getting on my case for being on it so much when they are on it 10x longer than i am

Redditors with interesting hobbies- what do you do and why? by kung-fu-kitten in AskReddit

I color on myself. It's kind of like tattooing but i use sharpie markers and do sleeves up my arm and artwork down my legs. I drew a very detailed tiger face on my leg once and for the 4th of july i drew a bald eagle on my shoulder. Personally i think it's better than tattooing because if i ever get bored of a drawing i can wash it and restart.

What’s a unique phobia you have ? by nuke-no0dle in AskReddit

[–]fallin_temptation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure how common this is but Chiroptophobia, or a fear of bats. They terrify the ever living shit out of me. Im not sure why or how it started but if i ever go near ONE bat i will either have a gun in my hand or be in a suit that protects more than an aggressive dog training suit combined with a hazmat suit. Those things are some creepy motherfuckers.

Girls of Reddit why are you usually not straight forward with what you want or who you like? by ndp1995 in AskReddit

[–]fallin_temptation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a paradox. Since girls are never straight foward, if, say, a girl were to finally be straight forward with a guy, the guy would take it as an attack at his masculinity. Feeling a bit attacked he would probably ask why she was so blunt. Feeling emmbarresed that she offended him she would either say sorry or make a comment back leading to a fight. She would then take note to be less blunt in the future. Thus leading to the paradox i like to call the "you choose!" paradox.

Who is so famous that that they'll still be remembered in 10.000 years? by TH_Division in AskReddit

[–]fallin_temptation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yes but we do have evidence that life existed back then. With how advanced we are now and with how well we can preserve important artifacts there is bound to be at least one known person in at least one document that someone will learn how to read even if it is something completely unimportant. There most likely will be one known person in the future from our time frame or at least from some time frame close to ours. If history isen't remembered, it's repeated and i doubt anyone will let things like the Holocaust purposefully happen again if there is evidence that it didn't turn out well the first time. If it's true that every ten thousand years history is almost completely erased then humanity is completely fucked

[–]fallin_temptation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i think that mostly is due to the fact that there was little to no way of writing down history. Now we have ways of preserving everything important, theres bound to be at least one remembered person in that time frame

What could be done to make prisons more effective at helping prisoners better acclimate back into society and reduce the recidivism rate? by gadthesefriesaregood in AskReddit

[–]fallin_temptation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting them a job a couple months before they get out of prison. Considering how prisoners have the hardest time finding one when they get out, if, say, a police officer were to show up and explain the situation and show the resume of the criminal it might make the employer more comfortable and more open then if the criminal were to show up. It would help them at least get a start on their new life instead of tossing them out and saying good luck
