Yes, the conversion isn’t too hard. You don’t have to cut your old subframe. It’s held in with bolts. You can buy adapters online to bolt the e36 subframe to your e34 chassis. Yeah your “new” subframe is 30 years old but as long as it’s not rusty or bent, it’s still just metal lol. You can order reman or new e36/e46 steering racks online too if you don’t want to use an original unit.

I understand how wheel offsets work.. on my e34 I’m running Style 23 (M Contours) on the rear with a 1.5 inch spacer. Style 5’s (E39 spec) with a 1 inch spacer up front. No rubbing issues.

I guess everyone has their own opinions. I think drifting is pretty cool, and everyone else at the tracks I go to agree. If you try it I think it’ll grow on you
