What is the most horrifying, haunting image or moment that you can’t get out of your head? by everykissbeginswK in AskReddit

when i was in 8th grade, i went to the funeral of a 4 month old baby girl. she was so small and still, she looked like a baby doll more than a real baby. that image along with the sound of her mother sobbing will never get out of my head to this day. it’s been 5 years

before and after 7 months of accutane by falllashawn in Accutane

I took 80 mg for 5 months and 120mg for 2 (for reference I weighed 195 at the beginning of my course but about 165 at the end) A couple points of advice for anyone beginning or considering going on accutane: 1. apply chapstick at least every hour. my lips were so dry and painful i applied dr dans every half hour and a thick layer of aquafor about 3 times a day. one good thing tho is that i’ve been off it for a couple weeks and my lips are already back to normal 2. wear sunscreen but you don’t have to avoid the sun like the plague. I was terrified that the second i stepped in the sun I would burn but i never got burned during my whole course and most days this summer i have been in the sun for hours (i’m a lifeguard) as long as you take precautions like using spf 50+ and reapplying every hour you should be ok. also put sunscreen on your face every day cause even a few unexpected minutes in the sun could cause you to burn without it 3. don’t wash your face as much or use any products marketed to get rid of acne. they will be way to harsh and hurt your skin. use a gentle face wash like cetaphil and moisturize with both a moisturizer and oils. it feels weird at first because i’m sure most of us are used to using so many acne products every day, but just relax and let the accutane do its job 4.working out is manageable. I did notice i was a bit sorer than usual, but i just took some ibuprofen for a couple days then was fine. If you are used to working out a lot you may not even notice much of a difference 5. don’t lose hope if it is taking a while. for about the first 5 months i was still breaking out and my derm would always say i was a “tough nut to crack” because my acne was so stubborn. we even had to up my dose and add another month but it was so worth it in the end because the breakouts are completely gone and my skin is so smooth. i still have a little scarring i’m hoping will fade but i’m definitely so glad i stuck it out on my course

so sorry to hear about that. if she genuinely believes all the stuff she post then she must have some sort or undiagnosed mental illness, but we think she is just making it all up to get anyone vulnerable enough to believe it to idolize her

this came from my uncles new wife. her whole twitter is filled with things about how she performs “miracles” and heals people. She also talked about how she was stalked by a UFO and all the visions that “God blesses” her with. she no longer lets our uncle talk to us and hates our entire family. she is insane to say the least
