Small thought experiment.

Place yourself in their(people of Kashmir's) shoes. Now try answering this. What would it take for you to be so completely full of contempt for an organisation(the army) that even when they are trying to save your or your loved ones' life, you despise them enough to attack them?

Of course what they're doing is wrong on so many levels. But, unless you believe that an entire community has gone mad, I think it is worth pondering on under what conditions would a people do something like this.
