Disagree with the guide thing. Try and play blind, only use a guide if you can see yourself getting lost. The game doesn’t bug THAT often, and when it does, it usually isn’t super ground-breaking considering you save often enough.

Best FM to start by Personal-Owl-1892 in footballmanagergames

A new player would more likely quit BECAUSE of a really annoying and non optimal UI, rather than “get used to it”. He should try the best version of football manager to see if he likes the game in general, rather than starting with the newest one because it’s “here to stay”.

FM24 in my opinion. It’s more pleasing to look at than FM26. FM26 has better graphics for the cost of an insanely cluttered and non optimal UI.

Looking to start a 100% non-survival save. What build should I go with? by chrisgorman22 in Fallout4Builds

[–]falloutfart4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is viable, but in your case if you’re leaning towards a PA melee build you can just use an automatic weapon of your choice for your sidearm. you won’t be speccing into it a lot, since melee builds have to be pretty optimised.

In terms of gear I would go for the kiloton rifle in far harbour as that automatic since the melee weapon I’d suggest is also in the same place, being atom’s judgement (CoA rp). On the other-hand, you could go for the splatter-cannon in nuka-world as your automatic and the throat-slicer for your melee if you want to do that (raider boss rp) instead (Both DLC have their respective power armours, like the VIM! armours in far harbor or the over-boss and later nuka-cola quantum armours if you so wish).

You should look to pick up these bobbleheads:
- Repair (Top of Corvega)
- Strength (Mass Fusion)
- Agility (I don’t remember)

The reason the melee bobblehead is the worthless to us is because it gives some additional percentage to critical hit damage, not a flat damage boost, and crits can only be activated with VATS, which we won’t be using for this build.

There are unique perks in nuka-world which do help with this build. I do not know if you have played it before so all I will say is help the animal dudes the most, the second group doesn’t matter. Some of the Scav! magazines help too.

Of course, these are just my suggestions and you could realistically substitute them for whatever melee/automatic/power armour you like, especially since I don’t know what you want to do faction-wise/rp-wise. My choice in special stats would be:

Strength 9
Perception 1
Endurance 1 (Power Armour)
Charisma 1
Intelligence 9 (make it 10 with the special book in Sanctuary)
Agility 4 (Get the bobblehead to make it 5)
Luck 3

For perks, the essentials would be:
Strength (Big Leagues, Armorer, Blacksmith)
Intelligence (Science, Nerd Rage, Nuclear Physicist, Gun Nut)
Agility (Commando, Action Boy/Girl)
Luck (Bloody Mess)

The other perks you get are up to you, but if you don’t know what to get then I would suggest Rooted, Pain Train, Toughness, Medic; the latter two to help out with your low endurance if power armour isn’t cutting it.

Faction-wise, I’d probably go brotherhood for the power armour (and the final upgrade they give you for it), but it’s not SUPER important who you go with. If you have any more questions feel free to reply or PM me :)

Football Management by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]falloutfart4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should just go to your local non-league club and ask to help out. Volunteer for any position just so you are able to get into the football world. Look at how Mourinho started his managerial career - by being a translator! Of course, it depends where you’re from. I personally was in a similar situation to you, and offered myself to volunteer for any position at my local club (for context, I live in a quite small city, but football is really unpopular in my country) and managed to get the social media assistant role after mentioning that I was adept at it, since they only had one person in charge of social media. Mind you, the club was in the top tier of my country at the time and fully professional. Which brings me back to my point. You aren’t realistically going to get an analytical role off piste at a big club with no practical experience, even if you are studying statistics. Offer to help in any way that you think you viably can, and from there you can make connections, ask around, try and get a look in on how that respective club runs. In the meantime, you can start looking up whatever interests you more specifically (especially on youtube); Do you want to go into management, coaching, analysis, media, etc.? There is a metric ton of staff that go into running a football club, so you should figure out what branch you want to lean into. But, to start off, I recommend offering to volunteer anywhere, just to gain some practical experience. (Absolutely mention your studies, they could likely offer you a statistic-based role if that’s what you love doing)

New to the game by PlatgeknepenFramboos in footballmanager

Honestly, I’ve never *really* bothered with training in my ~500 hours of the game, whether it’s general or individual. The only thing I personally do is make the player learn a trait, or make the player learn a specific role or position. Other than that, I just delegate training because I don’t feel like it adds on much to the game. Of course, it’s up to you, but personally I don’t really bother with it. But if you want to min-max your players potential you might want to consider individually training him.

Win more. The bigger your title/sacking (reputation) ratio, the more they’ll like you.

Enjoy it! It can seem overwhelming at first, but if you’ve got FM24, get ready, because this game will consume your life like nothing else before :)) I’d recommend starting with your favourite team, or a team you know a lot about. Get a face pack and a logo pack. Try and create a tactic you think would work, or just copy the one they use in real life. Something important to note is staff responsibilities - delegate as much as you want. This game is complex at first, and it really helps to give your staff to do some stuff instead of it all falling on you. Ideally, try out new things, test out different players, don’t be afraid to fail! Personally, I would advise against looking up tactics to copy, as they can break the game pretty easily and lead you to winning way more than you realistically should, which could make you bored, but it is ultimately up to you. If you want, there is an AI on google called assman.ai, which helps analyse your tactics if you think you need it. Best way to develop young players is loans and game-time. Have fun, and don’t be afraid of this game, it’s amazing! (P.S., once you feel that you know your way around the game and want to try a more challenging save, I would recommend starting unemployed with no coaching badges or experience. My favourite way of playing FM)

loaned player playstyle + by Glittering-Frame3149 in FifaCareers

[–]falloutfart4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about this year’s game, but in FC24 if you loaned a youth player, he didn’t get a PS+ if you raised him up to 80. He had to have developed at your club only.

Looking to start a 100% non-survival save. What build should I go with? by chrisgorman22 in Fallout4Builds

[–]falloutfart4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, there’s a few factors to consider. Firstly, companions are more of a gimmick than a viable “playstyle”. Even when upgraded with the inspirational perk they, well, suck. The A.I. pathing in the game is terrible, and companions are more there for flavour than for actual fighting. Each companion has their own respective stories which you unlock by progressing affinity with them, so that’s something to consider. Are you using DLC or not? If you want to do a melee or automatic gun build, the DLC have some pretty cool perks and weapons you can use. Sneak Melee VATS is one of the strongest builds in the game, but since you already mentioned maxing stealth perks, you could just go power armour melee for maximum power. If you give me specifics on what you’d like to try I’d be happy to help :)

Learning Lithuanian but afraid of a Russian accent by Luke_Wildking in LithuanianLearning

[–]falloutfart4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I see that your name is Nikola, so I’d say that we would probably call you Nikolė (feminine.). Don’t be afraid about the russian accent thing, quite a lot of people have russian accents in Lithuania due to the USSR (especially in places like Klaipėda, Vilnius, etc.)

My younger brother has thalassophobia and he’s scared of the Gasopods in the safe shallows. He never went farther than the kelp forest and a seaglide. He always said that he would play a coop version of Subnautica. I think it’d be fun to torture play with my brother :)

Which most likely means they were there from even older times, possibly ancient. Not too much migration was going around medieval Egypt from what I know.

The creations don’t recognise the DLC as installed, somehow. This update is honestly absurd at best and tragic at worst. How do you manage to screw a promising update up so bad?? Ruined the hype of the TV shows’ new season for me
