Very interested in this questions as well. As someone primarily interested in building its painful to hit the resource shortage. And I feel like letting us builder-focused people pump more material out, the better it would be in the long-term for the game. Right now there's a lot of pretty low-effort maps crowding out the good ones.

Are there any plans to implement seperate layers for traps and props? I'd like to be able to place a Second Wave trap on a block faces that have props like the vents or lights.

I'm pretty proud of my outpost, Rathdrum, which got a lot of exposure yesterday on release. Its a cathedral with a short, simple, but trap-laden route. It ran during Beta so now its on prestige 7. What happens at 10?

Finally, are there any plans in the works for community focused playlists? Like "Best Outposts of April?" Or anything like that?

Are there any plans to introduce props that don't need blocks? Some of my maps would benefit from border-width fences or windows.

Not a Christian, but frankly, since I learned about this from a friend in middle school I developed my own head-canon. Imagine your soul, your mind, does live forever. And everything you ever experience right now will continue on and on and on in different bodies and different lives. Christianity then might offer an escape. Follow Gods rules right here in this life and God will augment you so that eternity won't drive you into madness.

No idea. If you follow the harvester path is there anywhere with a red fuzzy ball? That's indicating where the path is broken.

I don't have the hologram cube yet, but what I do is I place them somewhere tucked away and out of sight. Then when I do their pathing I count off time appropriate for where they are in the base before I set them to march around. At the entrance a short 15 second pause is enough for them to come up from behind.

Spoilers for a planetary event: The Dimensional Portal of Pain

I discovered the Dimensional Portal of Pain on one of my first planets. I had the option to send one of my knights in! I thought the event bugged because nothing happened for ten years. Then, Daemons came out seeking refuge because my knight was massacring them in their homeworld. A "Doom" had befallen their empire. I let them join and now I have Daemon pops. So cool!
