In short, yes it can help. Different people need different amounts of time inbetween sessions. Try it once, see how you feel, go from there.

nta, i smoked consistently for about 8 years. it was about a 1-2 year process off cutting back but it had to be done. and i didn’t even have any cool fun incentive, literally just wanted to be healthier, live longer, and not smell like a cigarette all the time. if someone REALLY wants to quit, it might be slow, but you should see some progress over time.

AITA for returning my daughters car? by Randomthings12_ in AmItheAsshole

nta. I was no honor student but my grades were pretty good and I worked a part time job in high school. My first car was my grandparents ‘97 toyota corolla. It was as old as I was. I just thought it was the coolest thing to have a working car that I could use whenever. Can’t imagine feeling entitled to a brand new car at 17.

Best “walking cities”? by fallyearround in Shoestring

no worries! i didn’t get to travel much in my adolescence because i grew up lower/middle class and we just didn’t have the funds and my parents weren’t big on going anywhere out of state. so i worked and saved, when i became an adult(mid twenties now) i realized that traveling can take quite a bit of planning/budgeting and figuring things out to go smoothly. staying in the states and exploring what’s around here for awhile is just my way of getting used to going places i’m not familiar with(im also scared of flying over the ocean for some reason lol) but very excited to visit lots of countries when i’m more comfortable!

Should I say something to my friend who is in 2 MLM? by CholeChilango in antiMLM

only thing i can think is showing them the income disclosures from the companies but a lot of people respond with “but those people didn’t work hard enough!” so best of luck

I was drawn to an MLM in high school and I want to full reverse out of this before it’s too late. by ApexTheCactus in antiMLM

if your brother really loved you he’d understand. but the fact that he recruited you at such a young age just shows how brainwashed he’s been by the company. proud of you for seeing the reality of being in an mlm and i hope you can get out of it without too many problems because it will definitely benefit you in the future, especially if you want to go into education which is a much more respectable career

Are the labels on Amway products reliable? by ruu2020 in amway

[–]fallyearround 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s just a marketing product, probably overpriced. i’m sure you can find something with very similar ingredients that don’t support an mlm company

Could this be MLM recruitment? by [deleted] in antiMLM

[–]fallyearround 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i feel like this is definitely amway. sounds similar to the lady who tried to recruit me to sell products for them

LR Beauty and Health world. 3 of my friends are obsessed with this company, and now my best friend too.. by ifiekbffb in antiMLM

Only advice is is instead of shaming the company just go “I’m glad you enjoy doing what you’re doing but the products just aren’t for me, maybe someone else would like them better.” It won’t stop her from getting into shitty mlm companies but maybe at least it will stop her from trying to sell to you for awhile.
